Sting's latest is a solid effort, although I'm not sure how much longer it's going to stick around on both charts here.
On AAA, it's initial burst led me to believe he may get to #1, but he hit a brick wall at #7 and it looks like he may get stuck there.
At HAC, he's below the Top 20. What position is he at? I wonder if he can really get much further than where he is. I wish they'd play it more!

I try not to say anything negative, but Sting's new song really put me to sleep! I am surprised that AAA played it enough to reach the Top 10.
JerseyBoy, you are the first I've heard really praise the song. Most other opinions that I have heard have been lukewarm at best. Still, it is nice to see a veteran like Sting doing well on the chart.

It's too bad his duet with Craig David went nowhere.

JerseyBoy, you are the first I've heard really praise the song. :) That's because I love popular music with world music influences. I guess that's cuz my first love is traveling. My Mom also loves this song... but she's Sting's #1 fan. LOL I used to HATE him as a kid because I was tired of being forced to listen to him 24/7.

I'm surprised that "Rise And Fall" never took off, too. I thought it would be a sure thing for a Top 5 hit when I first heard it last year.
Do you like "Worlds Apart" by Bruce Springsteen?

I think it's a great song... it should be at least #2, but just because the #1 will be very difficult for the next 2 months with R.E.M. stucked there

Sting's gotten a LOT of media coverage this week. I wonder if it'll have any affect on "Send Your Love."

The song is alright, but I started to not like it really quickly.

I think I prefer Simply Red's "Sunrise" over Sting's.

This song got minimal airplay in the SF bay area. The Dave Aude remix got played instead of the original.
