Jesus, I can't stand this piece of garbage "song".
When did it come out? July '03? It's now September '04. And this song is still at #13 with a bullet.
Hot AC suffers from this so much. Why are "The Reason" and "This Love" still in the Top 6 with healthy bullets?
I still hear "Here Without You", possibly the worst song of 2003, and "My Immortal" all the time. GO AWAY. lol
Don't these 30-something white-trash girls (that make up a large majority of the HAC audience) ever get sick of a song?
*end rant*

LOL! Agree with your rant about Someday. Just never warmed up to that song. And I wish I knew what it was like to be "without" Here Without You . They play it all the time still! I don't mind the song, but the band drives me insane. They come off like such hicks!
I guess you could rant about Unwell & Bright Lights by MB20 too. I still like BL, but Unwell was just sooooo overplayed! And I still hear it a lot. But I'll take MB20 anyday over 3DD or Nickelback.

As much as I want "Someday" to be gone, I want their "new" piece of trash, "Feelin Way Too Damn Good," to be even more gone! Seriously, how can a song THAT bad not get recurrentitis from a song shoved down your throat once an hour for a year.

LOL @ 30 something white trash females. This is SO true. Just go to a matchbox twenty concert (they are my favorite band, so I'm not trying to rag on them)! I've seen some of the funniest shite there. Like this chick that fell down drunk in front of the venue, and when I came back like two hours later from getting the band's autograph, she's still there trying to get up and crying with her other 40 something friend. Another was this drunk 40 something getting pissed at her boyfriend for not letting her sit on his lap and so she leaves to go get another beer, falls down like 4 rows of stairs, goes to get beer, and then for the rest of the concert you see her walking back and forth across the main aisle between 2nd and 3rd levels trying to find her seat. She never did.

What's really scary is that today's HotAC charts are actually an improvement over the charts from a few years ago. In the late 90's and early 00's, songs were spending 60-70 weeks on the chart before going recurrent. In the past year, I don't think any song has hit a full year (although a few have come dangerously close).

I agree that "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" is just far worse.
Does everyone agree? If you could boot one Nickelback song off Right Now, which one will you choose?

I agree that "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" is just far worse. Does everyone agree? If you could boot one Nickelback song off Right Now, which one will you choose? "Someday". One song has been on for 51 weeks while the other one is only 15 weeks old; the newer song would have to be a million times worse for me to want it off more than a song that old.

The realld odd thing is some songs that you hate you can see that they are going to become huge hits. This however screamed to me that they'd only ever be remembered for How You Remind Me. I still don't see how it became so huge.

This could go recurrent as soon as this week and, if it doesn't, it'll definitely go next week.

This song is awful! Definitely in my 10 worst songs of 2004 list. Everytime I hear "how the hell did we end up like this".....I can't push the preset button fast enough.

I'm sick of "Someday" also, but I'm even more sick of "This Love"!

I'm tired of "Someday." I haven't heard it recently. I haven't heard "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" much.

It dies today! Although it's certainly not the worst. I'm just sorry that "The First Cut Is The Deepest" wasn't removed from the AC chart.
