Not quite. CTTH was the first Arista single from the forthcoming album, but Arista imploded a couple weeks after it was shipped to radio. TFF worked out a new deal with Universal, and they've mutually decided to go with 'Call Me Mellow' as the new first single. It is the most logical choice from the album, so I agree with the decision.

Has anyone heard this yet? Vermont isn't exactly a hotbed for AAA radio, so I would have no idea.

Just about everywhere I've been to in Vermont (& the Vermont side of NH) was within listening range of 2 AAA's. None of them are famous though. Then again, radio in that area has gone downhill a lot. One of the stations (I forget which) died and WEBK might as well have died, they're so horrible now. Are you within listening range of PointFM? I like CMM much better than "Closest Thing to Heaven." Also heard an acoustic version of it recorded at the KMTT lounge.

PointFM is very spotty here. If it's the one I'm thinking of, a station from Albany interferes with it. The only true AAA station in my range is "Alice 93.7" from Middlebury, and it's crap. Just what you'd expect from something with the Alice moniker. As a wise man once said, The Alice no longer plays Adult Top 40. It plays Adult Top 4. WEBK is still around, but they inexplicably fired all their DJ's and switched to a slightly less eclectic format a few months ago. I haven't listened to it much since the regime change, but a quick check of their website reveals that they've added this song to the playlist. Guess I'll have to tune in more often.

The boys played this on Leno last night. From all reports, Universal is giving the album and the single the royal promotional treatment, so when is it going to start picking up steam? It would be a shame if this didn't go top 10 somewhere.

This is a great song from a great album. DO SOMETHING!!!!!
I love this album. Tears For Fears absolute best in my opinion.
I haven't stopped listening to it since I bought it yesterday. This song is clearly radio friendly.

Have not heard this yet. I am all about a good comeback though. I wish them luck.
