Does this have an Adds daye set for either format?
Though this probably won't succeed at CHR/Pop due to a esoteric kind of lyrical feel, I do think it can impact these two formats.
If Triple A gives this single a chance, they'll fall further in love with Incubus I'm sure!
Hot AC is a little tougher to say. I think it can get limited success there.
My Predictions (if given a chance)
Hot AC: #14 Triple A: #3
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

This song is pretty bland, but it's starting to grow on me.

I love this song, but I don't see it going top 20 on HOT/AC, maybe a bit higer on AAA

This song needs to be released to AAA. In fact, I think it would fit in better on AAA than on any other format, including Alternative in its current form.

I agree, I wish it had more of the "space noise" riff, or whatever that computer sound is in the song.

I'm pissed off that Triple A hasn't even touched this yet.
They don't know what they're missing out on here.
This sounds perfectly AAA-friendly.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Triple A never has played Incubus have they?
I don't remember them touching Drive or Warning.

Triple A never has played Incubus have they? I don't remember them touching Drive or Warning. Triple A played "Drive" and charted pretty well if I remember correctly. Ever since they haven't exactly latched to a single of theirs. A few stations played "Are You In". However "Talk Shows On Mute" should earn Incubus a place back onto the chart. The lyrics have a great Stipe-esque appeal. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I'm an Incubus fan here but I couldn't get into this song no matter how hard I tried. Bland is an undertstatement here.

How would you consider anything that Incubus has put out on any of their cds bland?
I just don't see it.
Sure, its not in your face like a lot of singles. But this song was written I believe more to show off Brandon Boyd's voice and his ability to write lyrics.
This is the type of song that distinguishes Incubus from bands that want to sound like Incubus (Hoobastank, Trapt, etc...)

As I said, I'm a fan and think they're great. But I do think this is a bland song. Yeah, the lyrics are meaningful and Brandon's voice is definitely way better than 99.9% of his peers on the song, but still I find the overall full package of the song to be boring.
