Is it a cover of The Cars?

It's on their upcoming studio album "Lift." Yes, it's a remake of The Cars song.

Can't wait to hear this. I enjoyed two of their last singles particularly "Life Got in the Way".

Hmmm... where's the audio, so I can judge for myself?

Sister Hazel is one of those 90s bands that unfortunately got lost in the shuffle in the 2000s. "Change Your Mind" was an AWESOME track that did very well on Hot AC but failed on pop radio (although it did clock in 20 weeks...). Then when Champagne High came out, I thought this would have been another great hit for Hot AC but it failed. Then the ball kept rolling downhill with Your Mistake and then Life Got In The Way practically ignored by radio.
I can't wait to hear this song. I am really excited to hear new material from the band.

I'm very interested in hearing this. Unfortunately, they're one of the many bands who became less successful as their music got better. "Champagne High" should have at least done something.

"Champagne High" should have at least done something. Totally agree with this. "Champagne High" was more than a great song, and it did nothing... Sometimes I don't understand the radio

I heard it on WRAX/Birmingham (an Alternative station) back in the first part of July, and love it.

The album flops, debuting at Number 184 and Independent Albums Number 20.

Evan--I dont think you can really judge this band by major label standards anymore. I read something about the band now and they have made a concious decision to put out as much music as they possibly can on the independent level because it's what they like to do. A lot of people around here are way too sales oriented.

Even if you compare independent artists, Sister Hazel debuted way below where Hanson and William Hung debuted with their most recent albums.
