Well, First week out = top added AC Second week third = 3rd added Third week = 4th added It's tough when your name is Rick Springfield for anyone to take you seriously. However, he seems to be doing better than predicted. My first reaction was they took the guitars out, not another "Here I Go Again". Then, they changed a verse in the song. I guess that you have to give some to get airplay in today's scene. Here' a link to his site: www.rickspringfield.com/RSdotcom/htmlpgs/home.htmlHe will be doing 5 shows in my state along with one in-store signing this year alone. He must like it here!!! :)

This is a pretty good pop song with or without guitars. I think the guitars version would be better for hot ac. The most exciting thing about music is you can never predict what people are going to except and like. You can predict what they like on the average but you can never predict how they are going to react to a comeback. Most of the time it's the record companies and radio stations that are concerned about playing a comeback artist. The audience sometimes won't even know they're back. I thought the first single "Will I" could've made a little more noise at Hot AC if had decent promotion. It wasn't much different from his 80's stuff, but it was up there with "Jessie's Girl" & "Don't Talk 2 Strangers". It looks like this will be a hit at AC atleast. But you never know what band will comeback big and when, who would've predicted Aerosmith would get there first #1 with "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" after over 20+ years in the biz. That's what makes me still love music, you never know what's going to happen.
