This is the third single from Some Devil and goes for Triple A adds on March 15. "Save Me" was a bad choice and this one's not a whole lot better. It's grown on me since I bought the album, but the lyrics leave much to be desired. There's plenty of good stuff that RCA seems to be avoiding, namely "So Damn Lucky", "Stay Or Leave" and "Trouble".

"So Damn Lucky" would have been the most likely hit from this album. In fact, my AAA station KBCO-FM has pretty much ignored "Save Me" and played "So Damn Lucky" instead. RCA possibly couldn't have done worse picking these singles. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

RCA possibly couldn't have done worse picking these singles. I couldn't agree more. Lots of other stations picked "So Damn Lucky" instead of "Save Me" including KMTT and the recently sold out WEBK (who also played "Dodo" but held off on "Save Me" as long as possible.) I also think "Dodo" would be a good single. But, considering how badly they messed up Busted Stuff (I'm still not forgiving them for "Grey Street") I'm not surprised.

I actually liked Save Me a lot. Grave Digger is by far the best song though, and it got pretty much completely ignored by all formats except Hot AC and I thought it'd be a crossover hit.

Well, he's 0 for 3 with me now. What a horrible choice for a single, and the first two were just bad. As far as radio is concerned, this solo album was a complete bust. However, thanks to loyal (or diehard) fans, I'm sure his album sales were at least decent.

However, thanks to loyal (or diehard) fans, I'm sure his album sales were at least decent. "Some Devil" went platinum, and I believe sold about 1.3 million copies. So indeed it wasn't a total bust for Dave Matthews. Yet, could his solo effort been capable of so much more? Perhaps go double platinum had he released "So Damn Lucky" as the lead single, then release "Stay Or Leave" and save "Gravedigger" for the third single? Sincerely, Noah Eaton
