I'm thinkin this is gonna be a decent sized hit on HAC - think it's just gettin a late start on Hot AC cause she's so young...same thing happened with Vanessa Carlton when "A Thousand Miles" first came out (not that this is gonna be as big - but I'm def. thinkin Top 20 HAC, Top 10 CHR)

Think HAC isn't initially "embracing" her cause she's 17, but IMO this song fits pretty well onto most HAC playlists (except Alternative-leaning ones) - I think HAC is pretty fair about judging songs on their own merit regardless of the artist (i. e. Fergie, Beyonce, etc.) - this has really high callout scores on CHR, and if it gets high callout with HAC listeners, I think this'll do pretty well...maybe not Top 10 though cause it does have a little teen-pop sound to it - situation similar to Jesse McCartney "Beautiful Soul" I think |

It's not too shocking that Hot AC would pick up on "Tatoo", but I still think Jordin's potential success on this format is due to her success on American Idol. She is still considered a teen-pop artist, so I don't think she'd get much attention at Hot AC if A.I. hadn't been a factor.
It's planned for her to sing the National Anthem at the '08 Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona - which is her home-town.

Thinkin it's just that HAC needs hits right now (that have high callout) and Tattoo gets high callout from 20 and 30 something-adults as well as teens...also she doesn't sound overly teen-pop on the track IMO |

I disagree. I can't speak for all HAC stations but I mean why then would they almost always use AI references when introducing/talking about their songs. Like, "this is the debut single from the youngest AI winner. Did you vote for her last season?" or "Are you excited for the new season of AI? This is the new single from Chris Daughtry's band?". I do agree that most of these songs fit the HAC formats (maybe even more than the Top 40) but I do think them being an AI finalist plays a part (small or big) as well (either for the good or bad). JMO... |

I. gives a CHR song more credibility on Hot AC, and really not sure that's true Weird cause stations in ATL and Charlotte don't play up the A. I. thing like ur station in Chicago does...maybe A. I. is more popular in certain parts of the country |
