I was gonna create a thread back when this was like #70, but decided not to. Well, now it's top 40.

IT's starting to reach it's burn limit. My listeners are tiring of it on my station.

That makes sense, but that didn't happen with "Thnks Fr Th Mrms" which is a very similar song.

Kelly in "Ignition" "The Great Escape" is almost the opposite (on CHR) I think...it's nothing special, but I think very few CHR listeners dislike it, so stations that are needing more rock material right now can play it 95 times a week (like Z100) - sort of like "All For You" by Sister Hazel in the 90s (no one loved it, but no one minded hearing it over and over)

The younger end of my demo definitely loves it. The older end, sure... they don't LOVE it, but it's not too grating for them to tune out. Then again, some of my older end regularly requests Papa Roach and Three Days Grace... so my views could be a little skewed ;)

(Sounds like you don't) :)

(Sounds like you don't) :) CHR yes. Two actually. One with a huge signal 5 times bigger than mine and 40 years of heritage. One with a crap signal, crap ratings. Both stations play Boys Like Girls, but I beat them to the punch by a few weeks. No Alternative in the market though. That allows me to skew and play stuff from the Starting Line, My Chemical Romance, Cartel and more that no one else will touch.

That's prob. why you got people requesting Papa Roach and Three Days Grace so much That's weird that you have two CHRs in your market yet there's still a demand for your HAC station to play Boys Like Girls...is the CHR one of those poser rhythmic stations? Your HAC station sounds like the two CHRs in Northern Wisconsin - WIXX/Green Bay and WIFC/Wausau...you should look them up - they lean Alternative, play Hot AC songs, as well as bands like Boys Like Girls

"Into the Night", "Love Song" and "Lost Highway" all have triple-digit bullets, so I doubt that this will make the top 20.
But it'll come awfully close.
