Best Week Ever Radio - August 5, 2007
Hour 1
Big Girls Don't Cry/Fergie (#5) Makes Me Wonder/Maroon 5 (#2) Who Knew/Pink (#20) Little Wonders/Rob Thomas (#14) Rockstar/Nickelback (#7) Home/Daughtry (#1) The Sweet Escape/Gwen Stefani f/Akon (#6) Before He Cheats/Carrie Underwood (#10) (You Want To) Make A Memory/Bon Jovi (#11)
Hour 2 Rehab/Amy Winehouse (#18) Undeniable/Mat Kearney (#17) First Time/Lifehouse (#4)
Well, in the middle of the Lifehouse song, the show suddenly cut to a commercial break and when they returned, they played last week's show! Looks like another computer fit. Anyway, due to this technical difficulty, we don't have the rest of the list of songs or the list of "Songs in Top 20 of 7/27/07 R&R chart not played this week". Fortunately, next week's show is intact.

Best Week Ever Radio - August 12, 2007
Hour 1 (You Want To) Make A Memory/Bon Jovi (#10) U + Ur Hand/Pink (#8) How Far We've Come/Matchbox Twenty (#17) It's Not Over/Daugtry (#13) The Sweet Escape (#6) First Time/Lifehouse (#5) Rehab/Amy Winehouse (#18) Hey There Delilah/Plain White T's (#3) Rockstar/Nickelback (#7)

Songs in Top 20 of 8/3/07 R&R chart not played this week #12: Before He Cheats/Carrie Underwood #14: Say It Right/Nelly Furtado #15: Little Wonders/Rob Thomas #20: Face Down/Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
- Two songs premiere this week, and they're the two songs that enter the Top 20 on the corresponding R&R chart. Matchbox Twenty shoots ahead twelve spots to #17 with "How Far We've Come". I think we can chalk up another Top Ten song for them. Who knows, maybe it will even go all the way.
- The other premiere song is the latest by Avril Lavigne. Even though her chart move this week isn't as impressive as that of Matchbox Twenty, she moves 24-19, which is also good. This is another song we'll probably hear on the show for many weeks.
- The songs not played are all older songs that are on their way down the chart (though "Face Down" has only been on for 14 weeks). I like it that way - we hear newer songs that way.

Personal notes from this week's show
- This is a rare week when they didn't play any songs outside the Top 20. Still, it can't compare to the June 3 show, which was two rarities - a show with nothing but Top 20 songs played and a show with nineteen songs. Lately, they seem to stick to the eighteen song shows, as it's been that way since mid-July.
- Two songs premiere this week, and they're both in the first hour. My favorite of all of them by far is Gwen Stefani's "Four In The Morning". The song moves 25-20 on the corresponding R&R chart. Hopefully, the song will be as big as "The Sweet Escape".
- Th thr prmr sng s "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" b Fll t By. dnt lk tht sng s mch, bt t's s/s. Th sng mvs ahd sx spts n th chrt frm 23-17.
- After being played on Best Week Ever for several weeks, "Dig" by Incubus finally enters the Top 20 on the R&R chart, moving 21-18.

Personal notes from this week's show
- Kind of strange that they skipped over both of Nickelback's songs this week. You'd think that they'd play one or the other. This isn't the first time that Nickelback's been slighted on the show, though - back in June, when "If Everyone Cared" was number one, they didn't play the song that week. Plus, back when the show was in countdown form, both "Photograph" and "Far Away" both debuted several weeks late. Methinks that someone on the staff has something against the band.
- Two songs premiere this week. The first one is "Wait For You" by Elliott Yamin, which enters the Top 20 of the corresponding R&R chart at #19.
- The other new song is "If You're Gonna Leave" by Emerson Hart, which is right outside the Top 20. It could enter next week.
- I've expressed how much I hate "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse. Well, there's hope, as the song falls a notch to #15, and without a bullet. Looks like we won't have deja vu with "Black Horse & The Cherry Tree"!
