Personal notes from this week's show
- My station had technical difficulties at the end of the show and the last segment was omitted, so the last song was approximate (before cutting to commercials in the segment before, they mentioned that Pink was coming up next, so that's how I know the first song in the segment). As far as I know, the last song might have been a song below #20 (such as "Dreaming With A Broken Heart" by John Mayer), but, unless someone here heard that show and was taking notes, we'll probably never know, so, since I like shows in which nothing but Top 20 songs are played, that's why I picked "The Sweet Escape" (besides, I like that song a lot better!"
- One song premieres this week, and that is by a newcomer by the name of Colbie Caillat. The song is called "Bubbly", a relaxing song with a somewhat melancholy melody. The song enters the Top 20 on the corresponding R&R chart, making an impressive 25-18 move, so I think we can expect to hear this song a lot in the weeks ahead.
- My least favorite song on the chart, "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse, looks to be just about done, as it's #15 on the chart, without a bullet. With a whole bunch of songs coming up behind it, I have a feeling that it will soon leave the Top 20 (and, as a consequence, the show).
