I have to agree with you, Brett. I listened to AT20 this morning, and I truly believe that it was a great show. Who would've thought the Dixie Chicks was the biggest selling American female group and not the Bangles nor the Go-Go's. I thought the stretch story on the Cranberries was neat about how Limerick poems originated since the band is from Limerick, Ireland. The Smash Mouth story was pretty funny about how Steve Harwell failed in his two earlier bands. And Casey mentioned that Nelly Furtado is getting married. After all, she already has a young daughter from a previous relationship. And I never would have guessed that Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top did the speaking on "Rockstar". Very interesting.
In addition, I noticed that the album version of "When Doves Cry" was played but the edited versions of both "Right Here, Right Now" and "Dancing With Myself" were played. Also, the "horned" version of "Hard to Handle" was played. That song and "Then the Morning Comes" gets extended time on AT20 this weekend with repeated verses. But since Mix 100.7 in Tampa doesn't play the third optional extra, I missed out on "Only the Lonely". Great song!!! But I do have it on CD. I'm very glad that "Over My Head" was played this week; after all, it was the #1 song on AT20's year-end countdown for 2006. Overall, it was a great show!!

I loved it too, guys. Nice to see the big leap-up of "Rockstar".
As for the top 3, I think Plain White Ts will probably jump to #3 next week, but the Maroon 5/Daughtry stalemate of the top 2 could last the remainder of the summer (at least).
