Second single at Triple A. Probably won't officially go for adds for a while now (not that it really needs to), but stations are already picking up the edited version.
In Coldplay fashion, U2 plans on releasing ANOTHER album later this year, tentatively titled "Songs of Ascent." Considering the increase in output, which should cover the next 18 months as far as radio play goes, I expect the label to crank out singles at a faster pace than normal. "Boots" will probably begin a considerable descent down the chart by the end of this month as stations start to jump on "Magnificent."
Anyone else hoping that U2 and Coldplay release their next albums on the same day this fall?

Love this song. Sounds like classic U2. It's one of my favorites by them this decade. I'm not expecting it to do much on the charts though.

Magnificent has already debuted on the Triple A chart, but I don't see it crossing over anywhere else. I think U2's best bet for a Hot AC crossover hit will be "I'll Go Crazy..."
