Hey haven't heard this yet, but really surprised that WRQX/Washington DC is adding it this early (along with a bunch of other stations), cause WRQX is supposed to be so conservative
Wonderin if POM is from the DC area...

It's not a typical Puddle of Mudd song that you might recall from the early '00s. It's more along the lines of a Lifehouse or Buckcherry type of ballad. I heard it this past weekend for the 1st time, and I think it appears to be a definite Hot AC hit - possibly even a post-holiday AC crossover!
It's worthwhile to note that "We Don't Have to Look Back" was 1 of the most added songs on the Hot AC format this past week. Even though it's a slow song, it's still rather strange that a conservative Hot AC would go out early on a Puddle of Mudd song. Usually, the modern ACs would be the 1st to spin it.
Then again, Mix 96.9, a semi-conservative station in Phoenix, was 1 of the 1st Hot ACs to add Linkin Park's "Shadow of the Day" in '07. That's something I couldn't figure out.

It reminds me a lot of Oasis. Probably POM's best song to date.

Chorus sounds really generic to me - gave it a couple listens - does sound like Oasis IMO but doesn't seem like that big a hit
