Well, Lifehouse announced the much anticipated release of "Broken" as their third single. They have a remix version on their website and on myspace page. Hopefully this will do as well as their previous singles did.

Deserves to be another top 5 for them. I could see this going #1 on Hot AC. The only problem that they have to fight is the excessive recurrent airplay. Hopefully stations start dropping spins on "First Time" and "Whatever It Takes."

Yeah kinda worried about the back-to-back ballad thing...IMO First Time recurrent play won't be a prob., but stations'll have to start choosin to play Broken instead of Whatever It Takes - not sure it'll be a good "mix" to have 'em both on the playlist at the same time I def. think Broken will be a decent hit...it just might take a while IMO cause WIT is still gettin pretty high callout Likin the fact that there's a remix, and thinkin it'll prob. do some damage on CHR also (on a lot of the stations that played WIT)...maybe a peak in the 30s over there, 20s if the remix is good (and sped up some) |
