I really love Bret and have always been a huge fan of him and Poison, saw him 2x solo and Poison a bunch, but for him to collaborate with Miley is pathetic. I guess anything with MILEY plastered on it, gets attention :/ :(

Looks like today is the official impact date and wplj and sirius/xm's pulse add it quickly. hope it does what it deserves! great song,i actually think it's my favorite ballad he's ever written except "Every Rose.."

I think I might like the song more, if Miley actually had talent. She only 'made it' in the industry because of her dad. You know the saying 'it's all about who you know' or who you're associated with? Vocally she's horrible. Her GOOD voice is all studio-manufactured. I wonder how Bret fans feel about this song. Carrie Underwood(even though I think she's high on herself) would have been a perfect fit for it. She has an amazing voice.

i agree the number of female artists he could've worked with but it's bret that wrote and makes the song good and it was originally recorded without her anyways! I'd really love to see this go Top 20

don't know if u are underestimating the star power of mr bret michaels,but the song is a hit with or without miley and miley said he was her favorite idol,i don't think it's fair nor right....to compare a rock legend with a teenage girl. that s like comparing steven tyler to debbie gibson! c'mon...u would get your butt kicked around saying that to people lol,joking of course but c'mon i haft to continue to take up 4 talented artists. the day miley ever writes a classic like "every rose" and if it's still current 20 some years later,i'll kiss someon'e a## lol...this is the first single Bret has attempted to HOT AC where he should've tried last cd cause rock these days is not Poison it's Disturbed,so Poison,Bon jovi and Def Leppard are Pop now! Marv..I have to agree with you. Even my 60 yr old mother loves Bret. She even called me Sun afternoon, to remind me that he was going to be on Donalds Apprentice and not to forget to watch it(as she did the same). He's doing a BOOK tour now for his upcoming Autobiography, and the last solo show of his that I attended was sold-out. If he's such a washed-up rocker, why are teenagers up to people in their 50s coming to see his shows? Oh, and everyone seems to be singing along to all of his Poison and solo songs. Bret might have 'star power' because of his reality show..but those are *bandwagon* fans. I've been a fan since the 80s and just now people are catching onto him and Poison....over 20 yrs later..LOL

Also I think he should have released some of his last solo songs as singles. Many of them featured on Rock of Love.

But yeah totally agree with u about him being responsible for his fame and not just the show because his music and fame was what ultimately attracted mainstream back to him for rock of love,nashville star and celebrity apprentice and i agree a few songs off the last cd and the shows were hits,definatley "Fallen", "Raine", & "All I Ever Needed" :)

Don't get me wrong. I love the fact that yes..all of the shows he's done, HAVE indeed, brought him some new loving and adoring fans, but I wonder how many of those fans love him for his music or just for his sex-appeal! Rock of Love certainly has made him a household name again. He stated in many interviews, he had no clue that little show he did on VH1, would be the hottest thing and just take off like a bat out of he**. And yes..he is responsible for his own fame from day 1. Poison started with nothing and blew-up. They didn't HAVE famous parents behind them.

I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift, but she doesn't have a famous parent in the spotlight to help her out. I respect her because it is all HER, and not mommy or daddy trying to make her something she's not.

I don't think you people understand that Miley isn't pure pop like Britney Spears 9who I think is still selling milions). She has more range than most mainstream artists. She can do the pop songs but she can also do these ballads that will do well on adult contemporary.
