"Hey, Soul Sister" has been out for about seven months now, and has yet to peak on two formats.

They need to release something to tide over their core format so then the mainstream follow-up can be assured a more smooth passage.

IIRC, Triple A was starting to play "Save Me, San Francisco" on their own, so they had to capitalize on that.
