A couple of fresh new entries on this week's chart, marked by the return of Ingrid Michaelson for the first time since "The Way I Am" in 2007 and another single from Nickelback, as "Never Gonna Be Alone" enters the chart just one year after "Gonna Be Somebody" debuted, followed by "If Today Was Your Last Day" six months later. Nickelback is the only act on this week's chart to have three songs all from the same era.
Late this summer, Lady GaGa achieved the feat of having three songs for one week with the addition of Lovegame before it dropped off. Pink also had three singles on the chart for several weeks early in the summer until "So What" dropped out in mid-July.
"Party In The USA" is the week's fastest mover, advancing 10 spots. Honorable mention goes to "Someday" with a climb of 9 spots in its second week on the chart. Meanwhile, "Closer To Love" drops out of the Top 20 and falls 7 spots.
Several milestones are reached this week including:
"Gives You Hell" 40 weeks
"You Found Me" and "Love Story" 45 weeks
"Gotta Be Somebody" and "Hot 'N Cold" 53 weeks
"Viva La Vida", 70 weeks
"I'm Yours" 75 weeks
Next week, look for both "Sober" and "Just Dance" to reach 40 weeks as long as they remain on the chart.
