Of note: Premiere has replaced Paul McCartney & Wings' "Maybe I'm Amazed" in Hour #1 and "The First Cut Is The Deepest" by Rod Stewart in Hour #2 with "Honeycomb" (being random again are we Premiere?) and "Don't Give Up On Us", the latter due to David Soul's recent passing. WWIS broke into a commercial during #32 and then skipped 31 & 30 then went into the extra. I hope Territory FM tonight is doing the 80s.
Territory FM is playin 1985, but it started on 6:30 EST and not 7:30 as the list showed.

I didn't even know this, but Henry Famborough (their baritone and the last surviving original member) passed near the beginning of February.

This is my 3rd time listening to the 80s B show for 1984. Yesterday I listened on WQCY but they don't play the extras. I got up at 4:45 EDT, which was 3:45 EST, for WFMX which plays the extras, but they started early and I didn't get it started until #36 and then the signal dropped around #4. I was comparing the two and WQCY sounded really bad. It was ok by itself but after listening to WFMX, it sounded bad so I used the good parts of WFMX and the rest from WQCY. Now, I'm listening to WFRO and so far so good.
I don't know what is with certain stations have the signal drop and it buffers. No data is lost until it goes too long or I refresh. WWIS does that often. WTOJ does that often.

Now to conclude our preview with a look at the '80s shows. The "A" show for this week is from 3/14/1981. Here is a prior repost: Five songs debuted this week: "I Can't Stand It" - Eric Clapton (#29) "Just Between You And Me" - April Wine (#36) "Her Town Too" - James Taylor & J.D. Souther (#38; Hot 100 Debut) "Don't Stop The Music" - Yarbrough & Peoples (#39) "Ain't Even Done With The Night" - John Cougar Mellencamp (#40) Five songs fell off the chart: "(Ghost) Riders In The Sky" - The Outlaws (#31) "Hey Nineteen" - Steely Dan (#35) "(Just Like) Starting Over" - John Lennon (#38) "Every Woman In The World" - Air Supply (#39) "Back In Black" - AC/DC (#40) Biggest Mover: "Just The Two Of Us" - Grover Washington Jr. & Bill Withers (#34 to #27) Biggest Dropper: "Same Old Lang Syne" - Dan Fogelberg (#14 to #32) Original extras: "Breathe" - Pink Floyd Long Distance Dedications: "Don't Fall In Love With A Dreamer" - Kenny Rogers & Kim Carnes "Cupid/I've Loved You For A Long Time" - The Spinners Archive extras: "(Oh) Pretty Woman" - Roy Orbison "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" - Manfred Mann "Baby Love" - The Supremes Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "Sweetheart" - Franke & The Knockouts (#64) Hour #2: "Wasn't That A Party" - The Rovers (#59) Hour #3: "Sukiyaki" - A Taste Of Honey (#73) Hour #4: "Being With You" - Smokey Robinson (#41) The "B" show this week is from 3/19/1988. Here is a prior repost: Four songs debuted this week: "One Step Up" - Bruce Springsteen (#34) "Electric Blue" - Icehouse (#35) "Pink Cadillac" - Natalie Cole (#36) "What A Wonderful World" - Louis Armstrong (#38) Four songs fell off this week: "Say You Will" - Lou Gramm (#29) "Could've Been" - Tiffany (#33) "Don't Shed A Tear" - Paul Carrack (#35) "Need You Tonight" - INXS (#39) Biggest Mover: "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" - Whitney Houston (#28 to #19) Biggest Dropper: "Seasons Change" - Expose (#26 to #39) Original extras: None Long Distance Dedications (just one this week): "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" - Elton John Premiere optional extras: Hour #1: "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" - New Kids On The Block Hour #2: "Small World" - Huey Lewis & The News Hour #3: "Walk On Water" - Eddie Money Hour #4: "Waiting For A Star To Fall" - Boy Meets Girl BTW with the passing of Eric Carmen yesterday, there is a possibility that the optional extras for both 1988 and 1972 (Carmen was with the Raspberries in '72) could be changed to reflect this. Of course, the last time Premiere chose 1979 as the "A" show, the "B" show (from 1971) was barely played anywhere. And Carmen is represented in the 1988 countdown with "Hungry Eyes" but stuff like this don't matter with Premiere.

I listen to WWIS and WTOJ all the time and they rarely drop. I listen to the streaming URL and not via their websites. WWIS I listen to the streaming URL as the website times out if I don't refresh.
When it drops it just buffers and doesn't lose data. Maybe it is my computer or some router between the station's server and me.
It's rare for WSQL to have problems. I'm listening to that now. What's good about it is the commercials are all 2 minutes or 1 at the extras and there is dead time between the show and the ads. WTOJ overlaps the end of the ads with the show.

Yesterday I listened to WQMV for the 70B and it kept dropping data throughout. Not just buffering. No one else played the B show. Now WVWP is playing it and so far so good.
