I also prefer this slower ascent instead of smashing out of the gate. This song has a lot of "cleaning up" to do post-Bionic.

There was some slight shade. It may not have been intentional, but it was still present. Doesn't matter it helps with promo.

Wouldn't it be funny if this outsold Taylor Swift? I wonder if this is going to be a sugar high type of come back ala J.Lo gets a hit but her album doesn't sell and she doesn't get any more notable hits afterwards.

There wasn't any shade in Gaga's tweet. I can't help but laugh at some Xtina stans who have wanted LG to acknowledge Christina (more than what she already had in the past) and once she does they are still mad. Not only did she mention her but she gave her new song mass attention. *sigh* Such a sad bunch.
Anyways, this is still just okay to me, but I am interested in seeing the video.

I mean, I wouldn't mind a bit faster, but I think it is going to be a "slower" rise just because she flopped so badly before and it has been years since her last hit (unless you count MLJ). I do not expect her to rise as fast as Rihanna or Katy and I am already seeing people calling it a flop because it isn't rising like one of their songs. It is just going to take some time in my opinion and it isn't like it is moving so slow I am nervous right now. |

This is not moving slowly at all. People must have ridiculous expectations, especially for Christina who hasn't had a Top 10 as a lead artist in 6 years.

KGB missed top 10 on the radio pop charts we are talking about here. It (unfortunately) hit #11. It did hit top 10 on Billboard which is arguably more impressive.
