I could care less about Xtina but I want this to be a hit. She needs to slay the world again and be bak at the top. Top 10 at least. Sounds like you do care about xtina then. Just admit it

There's only so much the voice can do. Top 5 is great. Top 3 will come when the song has more exposure.

I thought the performance was gonna happen this week as thought many others. Apparently its not happening until next week (hopefully) and video release probably the week after..
I still can't believe RCA didn't get her a damn banner on iTunes.. A damn mess... Its unacceptable.

It looks as if airplay has really picked up today so I expect a good update for tomorrow.

Great update! We should expect a big jump tomorrow, right? Why? If you mean because of all the stations adding it then not really. I'm sure 95% of those were auto adds because they played it at least 7 times on Friday alone.

Down to #5 on iTunes. Not freefalling though so no reason to worry.

Too early to say if it's a hit or hype.
The spins each day so far were 742, 226, 173, 112, 162. The fact that days 3 and 4 both had less spins than the previous days was not very good. However today's update saw 50 more spins than yesterday's update so that trend needs to continue.
This is going to have a pretty bad 8th day effect. -500 to -600 it's looking like at this point.

It will be interesting to see how Britney' episode of Glee affects this on iTunes tomorrow. Let the games begin.

Unless they get too many songs top 10 and knock this out, which I highly doubt.

Yes, people will decide to buy a Glee cover of "3" instead of "Your Body". Just like how they decided to buy The Voice cover of "Toxic" instead of "Your Body".

I see nothing wrong with its spin progression. We have established that the CC deal was likely just for the first day alone, hence the high spin numbers. Over the next couple of days the premiere hype wore off, but the fact that it's stayed in the 100+ spin gain territory looks pretty good. By now stations should all be aware the song's available (it got 75+ adds, I think they know by now LMFAO). I actually see the spin trend picking up over the next couple of days as stations begin to put it into regular rotation if they haven't already, and I wouldn't be majorly surprised if the '8th Day Effect' for this is only around a -400 at worst.

Well my point was the spins from day 2 (no deal) to day 3 to day 4 kept getting smaller. Not a good sign. Today's was more than yesterday's which is a step in the right direction. I think it will be fine but it was just trending in the wrong direction for a few days, that's all.

Look at it THIS way; if this averages maybe 5 spins per day over those 75 stations that added it, that's somewhere around 375 spins per day. Obviously, this won't happen IMMEDIATELY, but having now added the song, should all of those stations then begin to put it in rotation, its 8th day could well be only a -375 or thereabouts, since at that point its daily spins over those 75 stations would be about half of its overall spins on its first day. Should that 375 guesstimate carry over to the following days (where the first-week spins were so comparitively low) then this will only see one day of spin losses at best, and resume moving up the chart with a healthy bullet.
This isn't even factoring in the other stations that HAVEN'T added the song, and might just be playing it anyway.

Can a station, even if it played it say 25 times, make it a regular add instead of the auto-add? Like can they override it being auto?

My apologies. I never meant to make the glee comment a Britney war. It should have little or no impact on it's position. After much thought knowing that the glee songs have not been doing all that great lately anyway.

I love Britney and Christina. Britney more but I love them both
And "Your Body" is her best uptempo single since "Genie".

Loving this. I'm with Gaga. This is an example of the classic Stripped Xtina that I used to stan for back in the day. Glad to see it doing well already. :)
