It sold 103,000 last week. Substantially better than NMT's 77,000. The digital market has expanded significantly since 2010, so they're probably about equivalent figures if we take that into account.

Thanks boo! Same amount of Hot AC adds as last week! -- I'm not entirely worried yet about the iTunes placement. Promo for this has barely begun aside from some teaser clips.
It'll obviously dip down on the Hot 100 next week, but she has Leno on Friday, Chelsea in October and HOPEFULLY a performance on The Voice soon that should certainly help as well.

Well if we compare chart positions YB debuted at #10 on the digital chart vs. a #15 debut for NMT. YB is doing a bit better than NMT initially and hopefully A LOT better in the end.

She said it was supposed to parody her image, so that might have been the point. But of course she could have seen the video after the fact and decided that that was what she was going to tell people. The original concept we learned about way before it was even filmed was trailer trash drag so I think the look was on purpose. It is funny that it matches what she normally looks like though-maybe on purpose? I am hoping the video is good. It has a good director and a video that catches on can really ignite a song.

Call me crazy, but I think I like Christina better with some meat on those bitchy bones. She looks great.

The iTunes performance for this is really bad so far. I don't personally think it's looking good. Like a poster above said, when is the last time a song went top 5 on iTunes, plummeted soon after, but went on to be a hit? "Mr. Know it All"? "Blow Me One Last Kiss"? "BMOLK" didn't plummet. It stayed pretty consistent in the Top 10/15. "Young, Wild & Free", "Moves Like Jagger" and "Lighters" could qualify though.

The pink fire/explosion scene looks nice. The close-ups are big no though. Are we sure she's meant to be parodying herself with the makeup though? I mean, I know we know she overdoes it but it's not like the general public really knows...it looked pretty serious to me but I guess the full thing will tell. I'm really curious how her airplay is gonna far next week with all the new female single arrivals this week.

We're just about into week three now, this was where the spin gains picked back up last week.

I don't want to see this completely fall apart once it cracks the Top 20 like what happened with "Settle Down". If this can manage Top 10 on Pop radio that would be a huge accomplishment and recovery for her.

A far more credible review from Billboard: CHRISTINA AGUILERA "Your Body" (4:00) Producers: Max Martin, Shellback Writers: M. Martin, S. Kotecha, Shellback, T. Amber Publishers: various RCA Although Christina Aguilera released music throughout 2010 (the underperforming Bionic trotted out three singles, and she contributed new songs to the "Burlesque" soundtrack), it's tempting to call "Your Body" her long-awaited comeback. Given that it's her first collaboration with mega-producer Max Martin, it's clear the diva is going for broke. Featuring a chorus that allows Aguilera to unleash her giant pipes, "Your Body" makes it almost easy to look past its wince-worthy lyrics about anonymous sex ("So don't even tell me your name/All I need to know is whose place," goes one couplet). Indeed, the song was shipped to radio with a kid-friendly chorus, "All I wanna do is love your body," while an explicit version swaps out "love" for something far more transactional. With new album Lotus arriving Nov. 13, Aguilera, love her or hate her, has earned the right to belt "I think you already know my name" on the song's bridge.-AH

"Mr. Know it All"? "Blow Me One Last Kiss"? "BMOLK" didn't plummet. It stayed pretty consistent in the Top 10/15. "Young, Wild & Free", "Moves Like Jagger" and "Lighters" could qualify though. - Mr. Know It All had a near identical itunes run intially, and then after a month managed to barely scrape the top 10.
- Blow Me spent a month in the top 10, but didn't ever fall out of the top 20.
- Moves Like Jagger (v1 & v2) Fell all the way down to #37 after its mammoth debut, but had zero airplay. By the time it had similar airplay to what Your Body has now, it was already back at #1.
I can't find the charts for Young Wild and Free or Lighters, but I think something similar to Mr. Know It All is the best case scenario.

Video looks solid, should do the song well. The AI updates should pick up once these radio deals die down some.

The video looks stupid reminds me of something mariah would do with all the dumb hair flips and wind in the hair. Is she gonna dance at all?

Thank God the video is coming out tomorrow. I hope it gets it top 20 again or close to it. Perhaps a bit ambitious, but not impossible in my opinion.

Is it bad that I still wish they would postpone it so it can premiere on the voice?
ETA: Oh, I didn't notice the position, hopefully they'll show it on the voice too though.
