It just seems so incredibly random and weird that people are making a direct comparison between the three artists lol.

I've never understood this comment. Her album still opened with 110K. It's hardly a Nelly Furtado level flop. Therefore I still think she has some goodwill with pop radio. She has just been overrun by several artists putting out similar music to her; most of which are more popular.

So you literally do not understand why anyone would think that a Kesha or Rihanna song may move up faster than a Christina one in 2012? Alrighty. Once again, bizarro world for me! I never, ever, ever expected it to wildly explode straight to #1 with absolutely zero promo like the most current, biggest pop stars right now. I guess I am the strange one for thinking some rebuilding needs/needed to be done!

I completely understand. But you said "coming off one of biggest flops of all time", which is the part I bolded. To me I simply disagree. Sure she has a mountain to climb, but I still think her status plays as an advantage in comparison with someone who hasn't had a hit for years, or one hit wonders.....her digital presence hasn't particularly propelled pop radio to eat this song up.

As much as I think this isn't the right song, I hope it does outpeak NMT too. This song truly is a lot better and she really doesn't deserve another flop era.

I don't think Bionic was as a big a flop as people make it out to me. I suppose it was embarrassing in the sense she got dragged back in forth for the media throughout the whole era, but its commercial performance wasn't really a shocker. No one had been checking for her for years at that point, the only people who were shocked by the numbers it did were those who kept denying that.

agree. How long did NMT stay in the top 40 iTunes. If I remember right, it had very little longevity.

LOL I don't know if we've ever seen eye to eye on anything, but I've never agreed with you more than I do now. Your Body stood out to me from the start, the others all fall flat in many respects.
