I think this is turning around. Should start to see some nice increases next week.

That song they said should've been the 1st single along with Circles. I'm just glad that the listeners at the party were able to identify some hits. Bionic really didn't have the same result. She seems to have learned. Huh?

It was good to hear that for sure. There wasn't really anyone raving about songs that were single material from Bionic before it came out lol. The tracks sound hot and obviously I hope they smash, however if they don't the album sounds very solid so I know I'll love it regardless.

I'm glad that they said there was a lot of uptempos and HIGH ENERGY tracks because that is exactly what she needs. Classic Xtina got me happy too on the slower songs. She needed to get rid of the interludes and it seems she did.

I'm hoping for a good update tomorrow. At least +50 spins would be good for me so it can gain consistently.

When a +25 update is considered "good", yeah, expectations aren't that high.
But you never know, it could end up like Give Your Heart A Break.

I didn't hear it until it got it's break because I've steered clear of the Disney movement, but shes' clearly in a different league. I keep hearing it on the biggest market pop station in KC, which is strange, but good. They didn't even touch her Greatest Hits single (or anything from her last album). They should send this to rhythmic, too. Even though I dislike the idea, maybe she should get someone on the remix. I can't really hear anyone doing anything decent over it aside from Snoop, or, oddly enough, Missy.

The bar has been set rather low I see. Legend X deserves better. RCA needs to do some payola. If Demi got that payola with a song that never went top 20 on digital sales then Xtina deserves the double.

I left a few days ago when it looked like it would collapse off the charts so even a slight positive gain is pretty exciting lol. They need to do it or not though-if this suddenly starts gaining decent gains again it may be a salvageable situation. Seems like it is going to be nearly impossible to get momentum back though :/

I don't know if I'd assume anything on the album is a sure hit for Christina. This song is pure radio candy and struggling to go Top 20.

Catchy, melodic, etc...The 'reason' it's not doing better is beyond tired already. Will just say (even though it is SO not her sound and she'd be crucified for selling out 1000%), if Adele was behind the mic singing this, it would still be sitting at #1 on iTunes since day 1 w/ a 75% lead) lol!

It well may fare better if it was another act- but we can ay that for other acts, too, who struggle- whether it's because of how they carry/present themselves, personality, their age, etc. etc.
Some like to talk about promo or lack thereof. Tracks from Ke$ha and Rihanna are performing better in sales than "Your Body," and they haven't had any live performances or anything of the sort. Plus, they have yet to have their videos premiere. CA is going to be 32- still relatively young in the pop world, but six years older than Ke$ha and seven years older than Rihanna. Does the general public like them more? Is she just not as "fresh" as those two? Does the general public just not enjoy the track as much as the other two?
It's likely a combination of factors attributing to YB's underwhelming performance. And, as we know, live performances (like videos) result in different results, depending on the act.

I still feel like I am in bizarro world when people expect or think that Kesha and Rihanna are the same case as Christina. Like Younger hottest pop stars of the moment that have ruled pop radio for years Versus Aging pop star who hasn't had a hit in 6+ years could not be said to have ruled pop radio since a decade ago and is trying to make a comeback after one of the biggest flops in history.
It just seems so incredibly random and weird that people are making a direct comparison between the three artists lol.

It's not like CA's "over the hill," though. :) Those other two are younger and enjoyed larger commercially successful in the last few years- I just threw them out there as examples of how tracks sell without any performances/promo. In the past, we've seen tracks from "older" acts fare well without live performances/promo. Taylor Swift would be one that would be even further away from her- she just tosses out album tracks and they sell huge quantities. It's not like radio has turned its nose up at YB- it's on the cusp of top 20 at pop, and it's top 40 at Hot AC. Rhythmic radio looks to be shunning it, though. it's also getting decent video play (which may not mean as much as it once did in the YouTube world, but it's something). Overall, the sales aren't doing as well as they should, if we're using pop radio- the format that primarily drives singles sales- as a barometer.

You know, I am actually surprised it hasn't collapsed even more on Itunes. I can think of other songs that have fallen off harder in a similar situation or even with more hype/promo (Not Myself Tonight, Settle Down, even Mr. Know It All, a few scattered others). Not a great position, but hell. I always have room for some nagging ray of hope Maybe when they unleash the huge promotional push they have been saving up...(lol)

I've been playing this on repeat for the past 2 days.
The DJ played it where I work last night. Made me go nuts, lol.

^Bruno will pass it really soon though. She'll probably have to wait for Neon Trees to go recurrent to move up again.
