Red Street Country signing: Interracial country duo Neon Union sign with Jay DeMarcus' recently launched label. I listened to their debut single "Beer Up" and loved it; can't wait to hear more from them.

Bailey Zimmerman's song "Fall In Love" has Warner Music Nashville on tonight's Hot Country Chart. Guess they picked him up.

Jana Kramer’s song has been number 1 all genre since it’s release. I’m hoping a label even if it’s a small one will take notice! It’s an amazing song.

I have complied a list of Canadian country artists and their label, if anyone is interested. I'm not an expert on this field, so there may be some out-dated/missing info. Dang so Runaway June lost a member last year and now lead singer Naomi Cooke announced she’s going solo. I kinda knew something was up and honestly always felt like Naomi was the one with star potential. Interested to see what happens. Supposedly they’re getting a new replacement for her.

So it looks like it's official that Granger Smith and Runaway June have parted ways with Broken Bow since both are no longer on the labels website.

With the recent news of the partnership and co-venture between River House Artists and Warner Music Nashville: River House/Warner Music Nashville Co-Venture. Does anyone know where does that leave Luke Combs, Jameson Rodgers, and Georgia Webster who are all co-signed in a joint venture with Sony Nashville?

More than likely anyone signed and into the ecosystem (having success) at Sony is likely to stay at Sony. So of the 3 you mention, probably Miss Webster would transition to River House. Really though, it’s likely they’ll sign the management clients there.

I looked on UMG Nashville's website and Lauren Alaina's picture is no longer there. I hope that doesn't mean they dropped her or they parted ways and it was a technical error but man I will be so sad if that's the case.

They better not have dropped Lauren, she may not have much radio airplay as a solo artist but she’s damn near successful in other aspects, streaming, features, etc.

That may even help her, because clearly she has made a lot of connections and has a solid team behind her, but it hasn't translated to getting her to the next level when it comes to radio airplay. I am wondering now if that explains why in the past week she's been sharing several demos of songs that didn't make Sitting Pretty on Top of the World. It could be coming from a place of "eh, why not?" if she's been let go from her label.

Explains why there was no follow-up to Gettin' Over Him. But I agree with Indulge. She's well-liked in the industry, just became an Opry member and has a lot going for her. I look for her to sign elsewhere - maybe like a Broken Bow, Big Loud or a Triple Tigers? None of them have an established female act like the other majors (Sony, WB) and major independents do (BMLG, Black River).

Ngl Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery in the same label would be kind of funny.

Her team passes on a duet with Dustin Lynch, which wouldn't be that bad if her song did great, but they couldn't even get it to top 20.

I think Big Loud could do wonders for her career honestly. She’s friends with Hardy too which is a plus, given he’s on there.
