I do love Stronger, and I think it was definitely a step in the right direction as far as showing off her voice more with her material. I mean I'm a sucker for MLWSWY and that kinda stuff, but they kind of strip the personality from her voice. Songs like WDKY are big and anthemic like that, but she got to really SING on it. All of her little trills and runs that characterize her voice are on there.

Wish they had done something bolder but I still love it.

That'll be her first real country single. I wonder who produced it.

Hmm. Love the pic. Wish the 3 new songs were Pop, but I'll take 2.

Since that border is so big, I wonder if it's a slip case and there's a larger picture behind it. I LOVE the picture though. Excited about the two new tracks.

Wow - she really took the narrow approach here. No Low, Trouble with Love Is, I Do Not Hook Up or Dark Side! The Christmas song makes sense - given the time this is coming out. People can just skip it.

She looks so fierce in that pic omg. It's qt how they made the cover look like a storybook, very fitting for the "Chapter 1" title, but overall the cover is a little bland. I like it though.

Knew it re: the country song. And I'm all for it, er, how they're going about it. I wonder if this really will kick off a more cross-over career for her. We'll have to see!
Lovely picture, okay cover (I, too, like the storybook idea but it takes some of the sizzle out of the shot), track listing/order looks great (no IDNHU is the only moderate surprise, but idc). All in all quite pleased.
Oh and first page is updated obv.

I am SO excited for that song with Vince. He has such a warm tone. I bet they're going to blend together beautifully.

Love it! And I wonder whose idea the Vince duet was because that sounds like a brilliant idea to kick off Kelly's solo country career!

Also love the other two new titles, as well. The three new track titles sort of stand out as better titles than many of the hits listed here.

One sidenote: I wish they would have put "Sober" or "Dark Side" instead of "I'll Be Home For Christmas"

One sidenote: I wish they would have put "Sober" or "Dark Side" instead of "I'll Be Home For Christmas" As would I, but I get what they are doing by including it, with holiday sales and all. Anyway, it kinda looks like AMLT and IBHFC might only be iTunes bonus tracks or something. The placement of them seems odd to me.

Love the cover photo; don't care much for the border. It looks too traditional, dated. I would have preferred something fresher + cooler. Love the potential foray into Country Music w/Vince Gill. Kelly has smartly aligned herself with some of that genres most revered performers. I also love Gill's voice and imagine that the harmonies between the two of them will be stellar. Also, we now know what she will be performing on the CMA Awards on Nov 1.

Stunning album cover! I love that picture.
I'm personally happy that they didn't even bother including Dark Side, even though I would switch IBHFC with Low, but other than that, great tracklisting.

I'm curious to hear People Like Us and especially the one w/ Vince Gill. Surely that'll be the one she does on that award show. Then they can release People LIke Us as the 2nd pop single (assuming it's good, I guess).

OMG That picture is soo hot. People are going to think its the Re-release of Breakaway rather than a Greatest Hits. She is as smoking as ever.

LMAO at there being a Vince Gill duet. She's totally using it for country radio, although I'm not sure if I like that she's using a well known name to help. We can't quite claim that she's done it on her own if she uses yet another duet to help her. I loved what Dann Huff did with MKIA, I hope she got him to produce this song.
As for the other new song, I hope it's one of the Greg Kurstin songs. I'll be sad if the other (presumably pop) song is produced by amateur Jason Halbert. I want her to get some kind of a hit with this album and make a song I can get behind. Doesn't sound like a boy-basher though, so that's a plus.
I don't like the cover, that thick and busy pattern in the border is really distracting. The picture of her is great though, if only the border didn't distract from her picture. Maybe it'll look better in person.

Vince Gill hasn't had a Country radio hit in like 12 years. If she really wanted to break through at radio, I would imagine she'd go with someone that still produces hits. By recording with Vince, I personally get the impression that she was more concerned with producing a good song.

Oh okay, I don't follow country so I have no idea who's in and who isn't, but I have seen him used often for a feature or background vocals and such. So she probably is aiming at making a solid country song rather than an obvious attempt at a hit. I hope it's no more country sounding than MKIA, which I thought had the right amount of everything. I probably won't like it if it's too far in the country direction.

I love the album cover, but I'm not getting this. I'm just gonna download the new songs from AmazonMP3 and that's it. Still, I hope it does well. :)

First and foremost Vince Gill is the "go to" guy for harmonies/duets because he can flat out sing. And he can harmonize with almost anyone and make it sound like they've been singing together forever. But he's also the "go to" guy because he is incredibly respected in the country community both for his voice and his reverence to the history and tradition of country music.
Darius Rucker invited Vince to sing harmony on his first country cd. Daughtry had Vince sing harmony on one of their country-leaning tracks. He's sung with countless other country and non-country artists, both live and on record. I can't wait to hear this. I'm sure they'll sound great together. I don't think I've heard a bad duet with him.
Just bought CMB. It is my favorite single since Because Of You. I hate that CD cover. I agree with dbmhr that the three new song titles stand out in that list of titles, for whatever that's worth.

I honestly can't say I've ever seen a better picture of her than the album cover. Ever.
