I am so freaking excited for this country duet with Vince Gill!!! I was only semi excited about them performing his old song at the awards shows but now that its a new song...I just can't wait. I hope it is amazing and what a story it would be for Vince Gill to get another hit. How long has it been for him? Seriously, if I had to hand pick anyone for Kelly to duet with in country it would be Vince Gill. He is like the male country equivalent of Kelly. His harmonies are SICK. This is going to sound amazing, that is already a fact, I just hope the song is good.

Don't You Wanna Stay was released in the United States and Canada. I don't think it was released in too many other countries. Wouldn't it make more sense to put I Do Not Hook Up in there instead? The title People Like Us sounds very intriguing.

im not a fan of the tracklist...only for the reason I do not hook up was a hit...people want to forget it..but it was...It just removes another hit off her catalogue. But the cover is AMAZING! I wonder if we will get a video and single release for the new tracks...I see the country song going to country in jan/feb with a video like Jasons. I hope they release all 3 to radio!

Album Artwork + Tracklisting: Official Track Listing: 1. Since U Been Gone 2. My Life Would Suck Without You 3. Miss Independent 4. Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) 5. Behind These Hazel Eyes 6. Because Of You 7. Never Again 8. Already Gone 9. Mr. Know It All 10. Breakaway 11. Don’t You Wanna Stay (with Jason Aldean) 12. Walk Away 13. Catch My Breath 14. People Like Us 15. Don’t Rush (featuring Vince Gill) 16. A Moment Like This 17. I’ll Be Home For Christmas So many comments to do here 1. I LOVE that picture, my God, she's seriously looking hotter than ever, that's why I hope they milk this mini era for all that's worth. Dozens of TV appearances, red carpets, great music videos, magazine covers. It's a celebration, make us feel like it! 2. That border is a little bit 'Eh'. I get that they're trying to make it seem like a book with the whole 'Chapter' thing going on, but they could have made something better with that picture. It'd be awesome if it was a slip case, but I don't think it is. At least hopefully we'll get the full photoshoot so we can play a little bit. 3. I think they arranged the tracklist in a wonderful way. You have the undeniable fist-pumping, classic uptempo Kelly anthems (SUBG, MLWSWY, MI, Stronger), then you go to the darker moodier hits (BTHW, BOY, NA, AG), then the groovy laid back songs (MKIA, BA, DYWS), and then her 'shake your booty' hit (WA), to then give space for the three new songs and ending with two 'celebration' songs, which I also asume would be bonus tracks. I'm shocked there's no IDNHU or DS there, but it's still a nicely done tracklist. Good job Kelly. 4. The new songs really seem to stand out. I'm intrigued by 'People Like Us', I'm thinking it'll be a empowering pro-underdogs song, or a unconventional love song, actually I don't know what to think from that title. And 'Don't Rush' is a great idea. I'm glad she's finally releasing something to country radio after neglecting TSWR and BYOH. I have no idea if radio will or will not embrace the song, but I can bet it'll be one hell of a song, specially featuring those Vince Gill's harmonies.

But it's not like it wasn't selected and smaller hits were. Every other song listed was a bigger hit than "I Do Not Hook Up," and though IDNHU was a decent-sized hit at the time, it gets practically zero recurrent play--far less than anything else on this list. It didn't do anything good for her image, either, as her image didn't do anything good for the song. Leaving it off makes this tracklist a really lean list of big hits for her, with the exception of Never Again, but MD had to be represented somehow and at least Never Again went platinum and top 10 on the Hot 100.

LMAO at there being a Vince Gill duet. She's totally using it for country radio, although I'm not sure if I like that she's using a well known name to help. We can't quite claim that she's done it on her own if she uses yet another duet to help her. I loved what Dann Huff did with MKIA, I hope she got him to produce this song. Not really. Vince Gill hasn't had a Country radio hit in like 12 years. If she really wanted to break through at radio, I would imagine she'd go with someone that still produces hits. By recording with Vince, I personally get the impression that she was more concerned with producing a good song. Yeah, but he hasn't really tried, or had any big releases since then, has he? It's not as if he's a big name that has attempted to have more hits but failed.

As for the other new song, I hope it's one of the Greg Kurstin songs. I'll be sad if the other (presumably pop) song is produced by amateur Jason Halbert. I want her to get some kind of a hit with this album and make a song I can get behind. Doesn't sound like a boy-basher though, so that's a plus. I don't like the cover, that thick and busy pattern in the border is really distracting. The picture of her is great though, if only the border didn't distract from her picture. Maybe it'll look better in person. People Like Us could also be the Dark Child song Kelly has talked about. The Kurstin songs were done much more recently so I'd like to think it has a better chance of being the Dark Child song.

Someday, The Reason Why, and Threaten Me With Heaven are among the singles in the last 10 years with a vintage Vince sound that would have been mega-hits if released in his prime. All but 1 of his last 8 singles have failed to hit the top 20 on country, and that one song made it up to 17.

I've been thinking about "People Like Us" and I hope that it's a really beautiful ballad. As much as I would love it to be a huge smash empowering anthem, part of me really wants a true, genuine love song from Kelly-- "Beautiful Disaster" (Live) part 2, anyone? Obviously I'm grasping at straws and speculating with just a title, hahaha, but that would be my personal preference.

Obviously I'm grasping at straws and speculating with just a title, hahaha, but that would be my personal preference. You aren't the only one. I have been waiting and waiting for Kelly to release that epic ballad. BOY was just a hint at what she can do with the right song. Already Gone was oh so close but not quite there, a little too mid-tempo and the drama didn't help. Someone else mentioned that Kelly needs her "I Will Always Love You" and I completely agree. She DESERVES a song like that on record. Honestly, I wouldn't even care if it was a cover like Up To the Mountain. I just want something with those kind of vocals on an album. An original would be best but anything will do. Part of me wonders if Kelly is TOO GOOD to be captured in the studio, though? She is so freaking rare in how amazing she is live. She sounds even better in person when she is on and lately that is always. I keep waiting for a Producer to come along who gets it and can capture that Kelly on record.

You know, I like that cover and all. But I'd have preferred if they'd used this sexier, prettier snap.

^^^ Hard to believe that those photos are less than one year apart. The GH cover and 'Stronger' cover are my favourite album cover photos, but interestingly she looks younger and sexier in the GH than any album cover photo to date, IMO.

There were a couple of good pictures from the Stronger photoshoot but as a whole, I don't understand how it was so weak. I'm glad we didn't see the biker chick ones. Even that picture she tweeted with Joplin from the day of the photoshoot was better than most of the pictures from the actual shoot. I wasn't surprised they used a few MKIA video photoshoot pics for the album booklet haha.

Yes. No. Clearly joking sillies. I didn't actually think the forty-year-old-triangle-boob-house-sized-odd-expression one was the nicer picture.

Even better audio/video of the cover of 'Changes': _________________________________________________________________ As expected, Kelly's 'Breath' receives no banner on the main page, main music page, or pop genre page. It receives only the small photograph of new singles (not visible on the main page, but in the #2 spot in the "New Music" section of the main music and Pop genre pages):

Not asking people to hold their breath, but didn't it take a while for MKIA's banner to show up? I thought I remember some hysteria about her not getting anything and then it showed up later.

^I can't remember but I do recall that MKIA went on sale the week before it was sent to radio. So they probably just prefer to wait until the official adds date (or closer to it) to put up a banner up.

I think that was because Mr. Know It All was released right after Labor Day so iTunes updated a day late, on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

Album cover: the L's in "Kelly" alone score an F, but nothing else is pass-worthy anyway. The border is awful and takes way too much space, the photo is mediocre (and poorly centered), and the colors of the background, border and text don't match at all. I know (or at least I think) the photo is new, but the way none of the aspects match or complement each other makes this look exactly like an amateur fanmade cover you'd find on Tumblr. An artist of her stature should be able to produce something so much better. Even worse than the single cover.
Track listing: assuming all the tracks make up the standard edition, F. I can't stand the haphazard ordering and "I Do Not Hook Up" should definitely be on there. I also don't see why "A Moment Like This" is second-last. First, last or thrown amongst the disarray of hits, okay ... but second-last seems so odd. Anyway, hopefully "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is just an iTunes bonus track or something and "Don't You Wanna Stay" and "Don't Rush" are U.S. only.
I'm loving "Catch My Breath" in HQ though.

The track listing is odd they display her biggest hits first...so people will skip over the rest...weird...Also..haha to having SYBG and MLWS back to back...lyrically thats odd ;P. I'm excited for this tho!!

Not liking the border and prefer the first picture. She looked a bit like Carrie Underwood in the first picture, not that that's a bad thing. Can't wait for the two new songs. I might even buy a copy of the album for my mum for Christmas or something :)
P.S: Tracklisting is very strong and I love it.
