Wait Brandy was working with them as well?! How are either of them about to afford this? They're both indie, no? This is getting so interesting to me. Brandy, Ray-J, and Justin Timberlake all worked together with them around August of last year. I believe Justin and Brandy cut a track. |

Easily they'd get close to 800k viewers for that battle. Jill/Erykah did 724k during the live. Shame it's not happening.

I agree with what she said about people turning it into something else. But the only one that went awry after the session was The Dream/Sea. Garrett. I feel they could do this one tho with less shady comments.

Monica is clearly not at the point of her life anymore where she wants to entertain any kind of a competition between her and Brandy. I imagine at this stage of her life and the changes in her general outlook, sheβs mentally over it. Brandy is still in a very combative kind of headspace as evidenced by the way she acts on social media. I can totally see how Monica has zero interest in engaging with her.

I'd love to see them get their flowers but the reason I lived for the incense jam of Jill Scott and Miss Badu was how they vibed and praised each other. I think Monica would be about enjoying the music and moment and Brandy would be competing. Even her little video today seemed shady at the end.
