I haven't lost faith in this group, but their singles are getting weaker with each release. How I wish they could have pushed the early stuff in the US.

Chasing Lights and Wordshaker were both great albums IMO, but I think the Headlines! era would've been the best time to break the US. Their first two albums were a little too Euro but Headlines! was pop perfection and would've been very marketable here. I'm hoping they successfully break the US with this and then go back to their roots a bit.

Also the fact that two members of the group are already married and having kids (or have had kids) totally weakens any momentum for US success. That actually might have been a "jump the shark" moment in their career. Their US breakthrough is 3yrs. too late.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them becoming successful here just because they have kids. At the same time, this is not the best time for them to be starting families. Una I understand because she's over 30 and she had her daughter during a slow time for the group, but why Rochelle would decide to have a baby during this crucial time is beyond me. I'm hopeful it doesn't slow them down and their material/promo makes up for it.

Can't wait for their show. I agree that their recent singles haven't been as strong, but I felt the same way about the first two singles of On Your Radar, and I ended up liking much of that album a lot, so I'm not really worried still, from a musical standpoint anyway.
