It's smart from a promotional standpoint, for sure. I like everything about it from that angle, but, I must admit as a chart-watcher it is rather annoying. But really what doesn't annoy chart watcher's now a days? They get annoyed when policies change, but complain about corrupt and unfair charts. Bitch about 1 week #1 peakers, but moan when a song spends more than 4 weeks a the top. Complain when this happens, cry when that happens, ect ect ect. Chart Watchers(myself included)will never be happy or content People like order and organization and the radio charts always offered that whereas single sales and combined charts especially don't because songs move like yoyos. We like the odd moving song occasionally (F you by cee-lo) but otherwise, we like order. The charts aren't meant to show order but rather accuracy and hopefully popularity, which changes week to week independently of the week before. So these suggestions that people make every time something crazy happens to me are crazy.

She'll be in second place before you know it. While her level of entries isn't nearly as high, she's like the female Glee in terms of number of Hot 100 entries- just more successful and talented. :)

Yes, but the week Adele had 3 digital T10s none of them was at the top of the digital chart.
I don't see Taylor as the female Glee since most of Taylor's charting songs A) last multiple weeks on the chart, B) are by a single artist, and C) are in the T40.
Even though Glee has over 200 charters, only 34 or so lasted multiple weeks; Taylor has more than that with her far smaller number of total charters. Even if the "Cast of Glee" were to count as an artist (which it really shouldn't), if you don't count the songs which had guest stars, said artist would have around 33 solo T40 hits. Taylor has a greater number of solo T40 hits without having performed every one of them on a national stage viewed by millions of people.
In other news, a song by the "cast of Nashville" is #29 in Country Songs this week thanks to downloads.
