Latin radio was the only format that MWHGO receive notable play outside of pop, AC and rhythmic, so even accounting for that, 221m probably would be a tad high.

It had some off days though. Wow! It may reach top 10 on Wednesday. Congrats! With the video - which looks good already - it may reach #1 'till Christmas. So it was One More Night's second week atop Hot 100 Airplay. I expect Diamonds will replace it, but it would need a month or so. If nothing unexpected happens, OMN will follow the 6-week #1 trend this year (Set Fire To The Rain, We Are Young, Somebody That I Used To Know, Payphone all spent 6 weeks atop the Airplay chart).
If it sells over 100k/week it'll continue to block everything. I say 8-9 weeks. (so 3-4 more).

Why is "The One That Got Away" gaining again? when i saw that, i thought i was looking at another thread. I had to go and make sure i wasn't in July's thread. LOL. How can the data be all skewed? Isn't Mediabase reliable? |

As is explained on my site, the updates are based on the top 50 currents and top 50 recurrents on each format, it doesn't count anything that is not top 50. So it only works well for the top songs. Anything under #75 or so should not be copied and posted as true. That Katy update is only because she re-entered the Pop recurrent top 50.

I have Question (i don't understand Mediabase that well):
If a song gained 1.650 in total today, but at Urban, Urban AC & Rhythmic it gained only 0.100 all together, where is the remaining 1.550 coming from if it's not in the Top50 at other formats?

Usually people only look at the published panel when they check the updates per format, which is a subset of all the stations that Mediabase monitors. Not every pop station is on the panel for Mediabase. Not sure why: if there's a fee they don't pay, or they don't necessarily fit into just one format, or what. But I believe there are 157 pop stations on the panel, could be close to 200 including non-panel stations.

The Quick-Cut page is a page for individual tracks, where it has columns and lists the number of spins at various formats (formats like Latin, Rhythmic AC, Adult Hits, Classic Hits, etc. weren't listed, though). On the QC page, it lists (or at least did up through late 2009) the audience from the past seven days, one week prior and two weeks prior. I know that the total number of plays to date was for all stations, just not sure if the current, last week, 2 weeks ago, etc. info is.
