These are the ones I've thought of so far.... Lana Del Rey - American, more popular in the UK P!nk - American, more popular in Australia (isn't she?) Nicole Scherzinger - American, more popular in the UK

Hmmm... here are artists who achieved more success in countries other than their own:
Sheena Easton - Scottish, more successful in the U.S. and Japan Anastacia - American, more successful in Western Europe Randy Crawford - American, more successful in the U.K., Germany, The Netherlands Swing Out Sister - British, more successful in Japan

There are a couple of artists I can think of who were initially more popular abroad than they were at home. Queen were much more successful in places like America and Japan before they became a household name in Britain. Same deal with Def Leppard.

Darren Hayes (lead singer of Savage Garden) His solo career is completely centered around Australia (where he's from) and the UK (where he lives now). It sucks.
