Honestly I prefer the re-recordings. I've listed to unofficial uploads of the international bonus tracks and you can easily tell she was still a child at the time, especially on her debut.
What *does* hold up is that she compiled songs that have timeless lyrical content in most cases because the songs hold up with her singing them from an adult perspective.

So the capsule is not an album but she’s scheduling a release for it? I can’t help but think she’s skating around calling it an album out of fear it bombs. That’s an assumption, of course.

Yeah for all intents and purposes, this is an album lol. It has 12 tracks per the preorder (although I guess some could be interludes etc.)
I don’t think it’s a chart thing though.. I don’t think she’s under any illusions that this is gonna smash given her recent history lol.
Still looking forward to this tho. That cover is dope.

Honestly, though, smart of her to release her next project the week after these magically appear again. I also find it interesting that it's just the standard tracklist of both albums. Kind of expected all the deep cuts to show themselves too ("Butterflies," the Bow Wow "Baby It's You," "Back & Forth," "Do Whatcha Gotta Do," the Spanish "Too Little Too Late," etc.) Although "I Can Take You There" is there?!
"Get It Poppin'" is also available.
Neither "Disaster" or "Sexy to Me" are available, though. Odd. "Sexy to Me" still continues to be elusive since she never rerecorded that one.
