- "Lean On" ended up growing on me in a pretty big way, so I guess it just can't be resisted!
- Glad to see "Shots" reverse course and earn a new peak. I haven't heard that particular mix, but I like the original. I still prefer the singles from their last album ("It's Time", "Demons", "Top Of The World") over anything I've heard from Smoke + Mirrors, though.
- Nice debut for "Good For You." I think she put out even better stuff when she was with The Scene ("Naturally", "Who Says", "Love You Like A Love Song", etc.), but her solo stuff is still pretty enjoyable. "Slow Down" is probably my favorite of her solo singles so far.
- Lovin' that little rebound for "Sparks." Hopefully it's a sign of things to come!

"Shots" has been climbing until now, so I don't think it had a 'reverse course' unless I misunderstood that term. I prefer both versions of the track, but I have to go with the Broiler remix because it takes the song into another level in my opinion. Anyway, I agree with you because I also prefer their singles from Night Visions, especially "Radioactive" and "Top of the World".

Cool to see that! Regarding her stuff with The Scene, I really enjoy "Naturally", "Love You Like a Love Song" and "Hit the Lights", especially the latter, which I didn't like to see it to underperform after how LYLALS did. If I have to choose a track from her solo stuff, I would pick this one. It's definitely a grower and I like the direction that Selena has taken.

Although I don't like "Hit The Lights" as much as some of their other stuff, I agree it's a shame that it did so poorly following a hit like LYLALS.

- Wow, you're really loving "Real Joy." What's the longest that a song has ever spent at No. 1 on your chart? It looks like "Goodbye" managed 4 weeks, so "Real Joy" is close to matching that at least.
- Nice jump for "Good For You" into your Top 30! I agree about it being a grower/not something that's immediately catchy on first listen.
- I gave "Shine" a quick listen a while ago and wasn't too impressed, but I should give it another try, since you appear to be getting more and more into it (and I definitely enjoy "King.")

The Broiler remix of "Shots" already peaked. However, I didn't know that there were remixes of "Body Talk" on her YouTube/VEVO channel That said, Bakermat remixed it! :o Anyway, I checked that one and the remix from TCTS and they are really good as well.

Yes! Regarding your question, "Jubel" by Klingande has spent seven weeks atop on my chart, which is the longest so far. Then, "Summer" by Calvin Harris and "Supernatural" by AlunaGeorge follow it with six weeks.

Re: "Hit The Lights", sorry to disappoint you :( I do enjoy it, I just don't find it quite as addictive as their other singles. When The Sun Goes Down has so many great album tracks too ("Bang Bang Bang", "Whiplash", "My Dilemma", "Middle Of Nowhere", "That's More Like It"), HTL just gets a bit lost in the shuffle for me.

Nah! Don't worry. You don't hate it, so that's good :) Anyway, I haven't checked any of Selena's albums (as a solo and with the Scene) yet, so I can't comment about the latter. However, I'm kind of sure I listened to "Whiplash" some time ago because it was a track co-written by Britney, which failed to make the cut on Circus.

(I always wanted to post this .gif and I thought this was the best opportunity to use it ) Jokes aside, I guess the reason why I do like it so much is that the production of "Real Joy" is really different to the rest of songs I've ever heard. I'm not sure if it's unique, but it's so enjoyable.

I get what you mean because it usually happen to me as well. The most recent one has been, coincidentally, with them and their debut album Communion, which I couldn't get into on first listen, but I enjoyed it after a couple more. Hopefully, it happened because it was one of my most anticipated albums of this year.

Well, this is the first song I chart from her, so it's, by default, her biggest hit here to date. If my chart would have begun before, I think I would have charted "Call My Name" "Call Me Maybe".

That's right. She already moved to "Timebomb" elsewhere, with the exception of the UK, as far as I know, where she released "Talking Body" two months ago. I guess that was the reason I got into it despite I listened to it months ago.

I have to be honest that I didn't realize that it was about a same-sex relationship when I listened to it for the first time, but I figured it out when I checked the lyrics. I don't know, but I also think I appreciate it more after learning that. Anyway, the song is a grower
