The UK girlgroup made an announcement over the last few months of their US crossover. The first single is entitled "What About Us", produced by The Alias. There is a feature version with Sean Paul, though it has not been released other than in demo form. Currently #27 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Club Play Available on US iTunes hereThe girls have an E! reality show, starting January 20th on E!, called Chasing the Saturdays. They will be on Chelsea Lately January 9th, Fashion Police on E! January 11th and will also be performing "What About Us" live on Jay Leno January 14th as well. There is no current adds date set yet but Kiis in L.A. and Kiss in Chicago have been giving it airplay.

You're kidding... After a zillion singles this is the one they pick to try and crossover into the US market with? Yikes.

They make perfect Pop music. This track is just okay but they have more than a handful of other ones that are better. Oh well...my Saturdays on Pop radio = <3.

YESSS!! Certainly not their greatest, but I hope it becomes a hit at least to get them a start on Pop radio here!

Been a long time fan of the Saturdays since "If This Is Love" so I'm really excited for them trying to release music here. It would be amazing if they had some big success, I'm hoping for the best!

I've loved them for years, and while I wasn't that fond of this song at first, it has really grown on me. It's quite a song, and I hope it does well for them over here.

Compared to The Saturdays normal stuff I consider this more like crap than gold! I do like the song but it doesn't have the flare their usual stuff has, but that's understandable this just sounds like it was made with the intention of cracking America. I am curious and eager to see how it will perform. I'll watch the reality show but it doesn't look trashy enough to be on E! so I am wondering what that is all about..

I've never really payed attention to them before. Actually, this is their first song I've really ever heard in full. I actually really like it! So if this is as bland in comparison to the rest of their catalog as the rest of you all seem to think, then I really need to check them out!
If this does get a push, it could be pretty big here.

I'm glad a thread was finally started for this! The spins by KIIS would explain its recent resurgence on iTunes (Back into the Top 1500). I'm sure their involvement with E! and Ryan Seacrest has something to do with it. Get it!

I hope the video is killer. I want more than just a video of beauty shots.

I hope the video is killer. I want more than just a video of beauty shots. You can see parts of the video in the promos for the show, and it looks like in one part they're dancing on a football field in the rain at night with the floodlights shining down on them (Una's in the middle so it's probably during the bridge) and it looks HOT. I have high hopes for this video.

HOT BRANDY COVER! Actually this song is fire - I see it doing similarly to Brandy's version.

They've been selected as the first VEVO Lift artist of 2013 and the video is set to premiere on Friday on VEVO! The great news and promo keeps coming! All they're missing is airplay.

It doesn't seem like they are really scheduling any radio promo at all. They need to visit stations badly.

Did you guys see the Chelsea Lately appearance? They didn't really talk too much about the show, just that they pitched it to E and did not even make any mention of a music video or the single.
Yes I hope they do some radio appearances

Yes I hope they do some radio appearances I'm expecting the other appearances to be a lot better. Chelsea Handler isn't exactly the greatest at interviews and her show doesn't get a whole lot of viewers. I expect their appearances on Today and Jay Leno to do a lot more for them.

I'd like for them to do well in The US! We need a good solid girl group to get some chart success in the us.. Since the Pussycat dolls and Danity Kane have broken up there really hasn't been a dominating girl group... I had high hopes for Jada but they sadly couldn't catch a break. The only thing that concerns me with the Saturdays is that Destiny's Child is rumored to be getting back together for a greatest hits album or something? So not sure if the us can handle 2 girl groups at once

Definitely not their best video, but maybe it will serve its purpose for introducing them to the US, then on the next video they can show people what they can REALLY do.

I like the video. Simple but nice, and they all look amazing. This is picking up on iTunes, up to #212 on Pop and #873 overall (its highest position yet). It wasn't even in the top 1500 a couple days ago.
Side note: Has anyone else noticed how close Una and Rochelle have gotten? I know it's probably because of the whole marriage/pregnancy thing, but it seems like they're always together now when it used to be more Mollie/Una & Rochelle/Frankie.

They've all always seemed close to me. I know they probably have their squables and stuff but overall it seems like their is less of it among them than other girl groups I've seen.
