I'm gonna call it now that they scrap this after a few weeks, call it a buzz single and then move on with something HUGE. Twitter doesn't seem to have too favorable a response to this and the way PMB looks it's pretty split as well. The world had a collective mental breakdown when he came back with "SexyBack," and it went on to become an international smash. This reaction is better in comparison. Let people say they're disappointed; it's all people were going to be after a 7-year wait.

I'm gonna call it now that they scrap this after a few weeks, call it a buzz single and then move on with something HUGE. Twitter doesn't seem to have too favorable a response to this and the way PMB looks it's pretty split as well. Keep in mind that most of the people here at PMB thought Rihanna had destroyed her career when she released "Diamonds" so the early buzz can't always be an indicator of what's to follow. I remember that. People went completely apeshit when that came out. LMAO. Serious question: did he have a hand writing this at all? I don't know, but if he did, that would be cool. I can't at so many people on Twitter dragging Justin for putting out something that immediately calls to mind Robin's style and swag. But Robin did not invent R&B with horns. These are the same people who were crying and moaning about how it was Britney that invented dubstep and dance music. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) The internet hysteria over songs goes way overboard sometimes.

Slow jam, quite cool, it's really something fresh, love the retro vibe ala Ain't No Other Man! I think it'll be huge with his name alone because it's his comeback single, but actually not really a strong comeback single.

LMAO. Serious question: did he have a hand writing this at all? Don't know but I won't be surprised if we see some snark or shade tweets coming from either Pharrell and or Robin. You know they are practically laughing their asses off right now.

Love JT, and I know I will end up loving this song, but it was pretty bland for me on first listen. Can't really remember how it goes...

Getting paid has never been a reason for artists to be arrogant about other entertainers supposedly biting their style.

55. Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie (feat. JAY Z) Does the song even have an iTunes ad up or is it doing this well based on word of mouth? I don't see an ad.

All music is borrowed from somewhere at some point but i don't think Justin Timberlake sat around his studio thinking about Robin and saying well he has been so successful that Im going to bite his style for my return umm NO....Maybe if Justin blows up Robin can thank him and maybe that opens up more doors for him.

The little intro thing is totally unnecessary. The track grooves though. More than anything else it reminds me of Outkast circa Speakerboxx, actually. Not yet sure if it's as good as "Sexyback"--certainly it's not as buzz-worthy--but it's very, very solid and has the potential to be a real grower.

Do you think it has hit potential in Helsinki, Finland? nope. However Im glad its an R&B sounding record and not standard fare dance pop music that everyone serves us with these days.

I bought this even if I'm not totally in love with the song. I'm being a good JT fan. Can't wait for his album.

Justin is a real artist, he just wants to make music, not only following the trend, although it may not sound really commercial. Just like Nelly Furtado. But i hope for his success, I'm sure he can do it, he has solid fanbase. His position is different with Nelly Furtado. 2nd single maybe will sound more commercial.

Oh, that's why it reminds me of Outkast, beacause Outkast has a song called "Bowtie." ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Both songs DO celebrate the protagonists' ability to be a cooooooool badass while wearing some fly clothing, though. Needless to say, Outkast grooves harder. And better.
