Got my monitor in the mail this morning and noticed that starting this week billboard changed the rules for moving songs on the country chart over to recurrent status. Now songs falling below the top 15 (and over 20 weeks) are moved to recurrent (old rule was falling below the top 20)

Now songs falling below the top 15 (and over 20 weeks) are moved to recurrent (old rule was falling below the top 20) I just went back to look at last week's issue (I haven't gotten the new one yet). I thought there was something weird about the chart last week. I should look at the fine print more often. This change should benefit the ladies of country like Jo Dee, Sara and Patty. There is a big difference between Top 15 and Top 20. Re-current singles by the male artist falling off the chart faster will allow there songs to move up faster or at-least the ability to move into the Top 20.
