Interesting....I hope everything's okay. www.billboard.com/bb/daily/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=2088322McEntire MIA On 'Reba' Set Reba McEntire has raised eyebrows at 20th Century Fox TV during the past few weeks with a couple of last-minute calls saying that she cannot return to work on her WB Network sitcom "Reba" because of a "family emergency." On at least two occasions since last month, McEntire called just before the beginning of production on an episode to say she couldn't make it, citing a family emergency in Oklahoma. After taking her second break in four weeks, rumors have surfaced that McEntire is unhappy with her current salary on the show, which ranks as the WB's strongest comedy. However, sources said McEntire is expected to return to work today (Feb. 11) and that her reps have made no formal overtures about renegotiating her contract. 20th Century Fox TV, the WB and reps for McEntire declined comment. As previously reported, McEntire will host the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards for the third year in a row and seventh time overall. The event will be held May 26 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and broadcast live on CBS.

Dont' worry...things are cleared up. The Hollywood Reporter is pretty much a tabloid anyway.... Reba family is just fine, thank you (Brad Schmitt, The Tennessean) 02/12/2004 8:03 AM, ET The Hollywood Reporter sent a scare through town yesterday when the trade publication reported Reba McEntire had left the Reba TV show set to handle ''a family emergency in Oklahoma.'' The story said Reba called in on at least two occasions recently to say she couldn't make it that day. The story went on to suggest the call-outs could be because she's unhappy with her salary on the WB show, the network's highest-rated comedy. Reba's label publicist in town confirms Reba had ''a private family thing'' but that everyone's OK. ''She doesn't want anyone to worry,'' the publicist said. Reba was back on the set yesterday. As for the rumors of the call-outs being salary-related stunts, the publicist said: ''I find that funny.''
