The first single from Lonestar's upcoming LP (due June 8th) was released a few weeks ago. It's more of the same, an AC/country ballad, that seems to be the favorite of Lonestar's fans. They should be happy with this one. www2.allaccess.com/sounds/lonelets.ramAnother potential #1 for Lonestar :)

It will probably hit #1, but I think it's kind of boring.

It will probably hit #1, but I think it's kind of boring. Most of these overblown power ballads from them are boring and this is no exception.

It's good but not "Amazed" good. I also see this being a big hit for them.

This is OK but not amazing. Aside from their cover of "Walking In Memphis", I haven't really liked a slow Lonestar song since "Smile" (that's even if you count WIM as a slow song). This should race up the charts, though.
Does June seem a little late to anyone else to release the album? I can understand a smaller artist waiting that long to release an album, but shouldn't Lonestar's be out in April?

They wouldn't be the first Country artist to release their album that long after the first single, but yes they do have to hope it doesn't climb as fast as a song like "Courtesy..." "Let's Be Us Again" is Number 39. I don't look at the Country chart regularly and I'm disappointed I didn't find out about a Lonestar song until it made the Top 40. It's the third greatest gainer.

I really like it. I wish it picked up a little more towards the end but I still think it's a good song. Hopefully it can reach #1. I wonder if this would be released to AC eventually?

All labels try to guess when the artists first single off of the upcoming album will be top 10 to release it.
Some upcoming releases:
Montgomery Gentry May 18th (their 1st single is flying though so hopefully the release date will be moved up)
Emerson Drive June 15th
