This would've been a good single to put out after Beautiful. Hopefully it can be enough to jump start this new era. Let's be real... Mimi probably won't be premiering too many more songs on Z100 in the future.

He was offended by something she said at some radio event YEARS ago (I think it was during Charmbracelet). He needs to embrace the art of letting go though.
I remember her interview on the Morning zoo back in 2006 when she was promoting SS was particularly lively and featured some expert shade throwing on Mariah's part. Highly recommend it.

So what is the deal between Mariah and Elvis Duran, why do they have beef? She made a comment to him backstage at Zootopia in 2003 about him enjoying the male dancers in one of the performances (in private- it wasn't on the radio), when he was still in the closet. He's basically trash talked her ever since, and Z100 went from being one of her biggest supporters to being one of the last stations to add her singles when she put out new music. |

Wow, that is some serious grudge holding right there. If it was a private conversation and not on the radio, then he should just get over it. It isn't like she outed him. I can understand why he would be pissed off if she outed him before he was ready to come out. I can't even believe the radio station allows him to play politics like that. Especially, if she has viable music that people want to hear.

I liked this at first b/c I assumed this was cute shade, didn't even consider if the question was genuine lol. So on the off chance is the latter, she's the brunette chick from Glee. At any rate I should probably not be so shady about it myself...Lea's song is kind of generic, but it isn't bad; it reminds me of "Now You Tell Me" by Jordin Sparks in some ways. She co-wrote it with Sia and it's dedicated to Cory Monteith, so she could play the sympathy card in spades. |

Letting go ain't easy. Oh, it's just exceedingly hurtful ♪ I do not expect numbers ones anymore, and to be honest i think Mariah doesn't care about them either.It's just about quality music now. You're Mine is amazing, i love that mellow chorus. This song is flawless i hope it does well in the charts only because more people need to hear this masterpiece. I hope we get some album news soon.
