I think it got a B or B+. Either way, it received good reviews, and I thought the album sales were pretty respectable considering it followed Memoirs. The album should outsell Memoirs soon, right?

Damn. She is seriously shading me. First she performed at Rockefeller one day before I got to NYC, now she's performing a day after I leave NYC. I'm literally seating at the airport ready to head back to Miami. :/ Anyhow girls, I have an announcement to make: I GOT MARRIED here in NYC!!!! Aww congrats sis! |

Shoutout to Linkinfan. Congrats on the wedding! Also, after watching the National Tree Lighting performance, congrats to Mariah for STILL continuing to sing circles around most females today. Other than her whizzing her way through the song and ducking some notes (I'd rather her take the easy way out than try and hit notes that she physically couldn't, just sayin...), the performance was solid.

Thanks, Jamaica- yah, didn't see that it was 1991 until I watched it. I prefer the album version myself- the pace picks up a bit on that one. :)
Does Mimi perform alone on Buble's show? They show her solo at a mic. Would be weird, considering Buble covered AIWFCIY.

It's clear Mariah is part of two songs in the special seeing as she has on two different dresses during the commercial. So, maybe a duet on "AIWFCIY" (that was announced right?) and then a solo song?

I was just thinking CTIITAA fits more in line with a Michael Buble special. I like that medley would have preferred It's Like That would have been replaced with something else, but a solid showing of songs. I would have liked something off Memoirs or her first album thrown in there in the place of It's Like That. |

I think that or When Christmas Comes because they suit the style of singing she is comfortable with now, and it seems like she would be less likely to be nervous performing them vocally. |
