I'm having a bit of an Afrodisiac moment right now. Such a great album (Focus, I Tried, Necessary, Finally, etc.) but this was the absolute standout to me. From the reflective nature of the song, to Brandy's intricate harmonies to the "Clocks" sample it was a perfect album closer. The second and third verses really speak truth, and her mention of Aaliyah just made the song even better.

One of my favorites. Hearing her mention her, Monica and Aaliyah takes me back to when they were at the height of their careers. This song is so haunting.

This is actually one of my least favorites from the album. The lyrics of her complaining about the industry kind of annoyed me, I don't exactly know why. It just doesn't really fit the mood of the album. But I love the part where she sings about Aaliyah, that was so sweet.
