According to a press release I received from Mediabase yesterday evening, this is going to be Ke$ha's next single. It's going to CHR/Pop on April 23 and iTunes the following Monday. It doesn't say anything about what this is from, but I presume they're planning a re-release. Hopefully this doesn't get flagged for priviliged information, lol. Here's the original demo that leaked in 2011 under the title "Shots On The Hood Of My Car": This is exactly what I feared would happen. ugh. >:( I guess I hope the single version improves upon it?  |

Yeah, I saw that too, but I was intending to wait until it was on AllAccess/FMQB/R&R since no one would believe it today, haha. Not really sure about this choice (there were still a couple fine choices from the regular album - presuming it's getting re-released), but for the sake of her album, I hope it does well.

Also tell him we're not sending him any more press releases because he can't be trusted." I found it oddly specific. |

LOL I totally saw the title and thought it was a clever April Fool's joke given that all her songs seem to be about the same thing Something about the demo sounds Owl City-ish to me-is it just me? I think the song has a lot of potential though and a re-release is a good idea at this point. |

The Mediabase press release was sent out to a VIP members group that you had to sign up for. It was offered to most anyone involved in radio. I got a gig last summer but since I'm not that interested, I gave Slizzard the access code.
This is real. It's supposedly the first single from an EP she's recording to accompany Warrior in a re-release package like they did with Animal. It's to boost sales or w/e.

Only at RCA would a decent song be left off the album, then two years later be leading off the re-release as the 3rd single. They just have no idea what to do with this girl.
