My two favorites. Fourth single from Time, Love & Tenderness. It peaked at #12 on the Hot 100, #4 CHR/Pop, and #1 AC in 1992. He wrote this with Diane Warren and Walter Afanasieff, and it was also produced by Walter. This is one of my more preferred Michael Bolton songs. The music video features Teri Hatcher.

Walter Afanasieff, Diane Warren, Kenny G, Michael Bolton... they couldn't have made this more AC if they tried. LOL
This is one of the few Michael Bolton songs I like. That album in fact has to be my most favorite of his, the one I find more solid anyway.
(Teri Hatcher used to be gorgeous! :o)

I am ashamed to admit I still kind of like this. This and Soul Provider were two of his least cheesy tunes.

I dig the smooth jazz vibe with the impassioned vocal! I just heard this the other day - Kenny's sax intro draws me right in.
Not sure where it lands on my Best of Bolton list - I like so many songs - but it's a keeper.

I HATED this song as was the case with nearly every Michael Bolton song as he was overplayed on AC radio (such as Lite FM 93.9 in my market). Combined with Kenny G (whose hit "Songbird" was also overplayed on AC radio and a stable of smooth jazz stations, such as defunct WNUA 95.5), I couldn't get away from the over-the-top cheesiness of this song, especially towards the end with Bolton screaming like a madman. There was an obscure internet discussion referencing Michael Bolton, Kenny G, John Tesh, and Yanni as the "Four Horsemen of the Musical Apocalypse" when I was younger. (on a side note, I did liked John Test as "Entertainment Tonight" host and his NBA on NBC theme from the 90s). Nowadays, I would rather listen though those artists (including this song) over the likes of Cardi B, Nicki Minja, Miley Cyrus and Justin Beiber any day. I feel old.
