Linda released a new album, last week, called I Have Arrived. I hadn't heard anything about it until today, which isn't really a good sign. Her version of Bonnie Raitt's "Love Sneakin' Up On You" is on the album, and I guess it's her single since that's what she sings on Reba's tour this year. Too bad she hasn't had much success - she's had some good songs over the years.

Well, Linda doesn't have a record deal. She recorded the album on her own and released it on her own through her website only. You can listen to clips at www.lindadavis.com/?inc=albumsIt sounds pretty good. But she doesn't have any singles being promoted to radio, she's just chosen to sing "Love Sneaking Up On You" at Reba's shows.

Haven't heard this, but I've enjoyed her in the past. She's had some bad luck in her career recording hit songs prior to the people who eventually made them hits, but not releasing them (namely Alabama's "In Pictures" and Ricochet's "What Do I Know").
Top 5 Linda Davis songs:
1. I Wanna Remember This 2. Some Things Are Meant To Be 3. Love Didn't Do It 4. Love Story In The Making 5. I'm Yours

Oh, I didn't realize that the album wasn't available in stores. That's too bad.
My favorite, non-Reba, Linda songs:
1. Some Things Are Meant To Be 2. I Wanna Remember This 3. Love Story In The Making 4. I'm Yours 5. Love Didn't Do It

I take that back... some people on Reba's board have reported seeing it at Target. And a Reba fan site, www.extremereba.com lists a record company on there, Center Hill Records, but it's a small one that I've never heard of. I imagine they made deals with a few of the major retailers. You can also buy her record at Reba's shows this year.
