Let's post some records...what is the longest charting song EVER on RR country, what is the longest in the 80s, 90s, 00's, etc. What song spent the most weeks at #1 in each of the decades, what song spent the most weeks falling off the chart, etc.? I'm most curious to see what song spent the most weeks on the chart though. Mike

Yes, I'm looking for info on the RR charts, airplay only. They are significantly different from BB because of the recurrent rules. I'm not sure but LeAnn Rimes, "How Do I Live" was on the charts from 1997-2002 & sold over 3 million copies. sry i just go by what i like, LOL NICK

On the ACC Top 40 (www.acctop40.com), I believe the record is held by Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?!" with 41 weeks; Keith Urban's "Somebody Like You" had 40 weeks. I don't know about R&R though.

Again I keep track of BB charts. Gary Allan has the most recent longest charting song in about 40 years, at 48 weeks. But, Toby, Tim, Lonestar and a few others have all done between 40 and 45 weeks. I think on RR's charts, a longer charting song would have to be one that moves up extremely slow. Craig Morgan's might be one, as on BB, it spent 20 weeks going to about 35 or so, then went recurrent for 3 weeks, then came back on. RR it wouldn't have done that. On the ACC Top 40 (www.acctop40.com), I believe the record is held by Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?!" with 41 weeks; Keith Urban's "Somebody Like You" had 40 weeks. I don't know about R&R though.
