"Gentleman" is still generating massive streaming activity, but I noticed it is starting to tail off a bit. I am changing my top 5 prediction to:
1. Gentleman 2. Just Give Me A Reason 3. Thrift Shop 4. Can't Hold Us 5. When I Was Your Man
I think this will be a very competitive top 10 with not a lot of points separating songs.

So the consensus is that PSY still has #1 in the bag?

I think Psy and P!nk will be closer than most people think, but Psy looks to be #1.

I don't think PSY will be anywhere near #1 unless the youtube views really pick up. Hope I'm just doing the math wrong because I'd love for him to be #1 but it doesn't look likely.

I wished they got a full tracking week. It would have had 175 million views! Easy #1... It's slowing down now, though it should still get around 140 million views in during the tracking week, which could potentially have enough US views... I hope so.

Didn't "Harlem Shake" beat "Thrift Shop" one week with only 20 million views? And "Thrift Shop" sold around 300k that week. Granted, "Harlem Shake" sold a lot more than week than what "Gentleman" is sure to sell this week, but "Just Give Me a Reason" shouldn't be selling as much as "Thrift Shop" sold that week either. He's probably going to end up with around 140 million views in total, and if the ratio we saw early remains somewhat consistent, that could be around 20-25 million views.

Harlem Shake 28m streams 150k sales 7m audience
vs.
Thrift Shop 10m streams 270k sales 118m audience
Harlem Shake = 29% Lead 19m stream advantage vs. 120 sales disadvantage 110m audience disadvantage
----------------------
Gentleman 19m streams 120k sales 5m audience
vs.
Just Give Me A Reason 6m streams 275k sales 100m audience
Can Gentleman Win?! 13m stream advantage vs. 175k sales disadvantage 105m audience disadvantage
Doubtful Gentleman gets #1.

I based my #1 prediction for "Gentleman" on:
20 million YouTube streams = 50,000 points; 96,000 downloads = 8,000 points;
"Just Give Me A Reason:
4.0 million passive streams = 10,000; 1.5 million on-demand = 7,500; 280,000 downloads = 23,333; 105 million Impressions = 14,000
So "Gentleman" ends up with about 3,200 points more than JGMAR. Of course the 20 million YouTube views is total guess work. I thought it would get more than 8.6 million last week.

Wikipedia - you can search Rihanna, than click on Discography down at the bottom little box. It will then take you to her Discography, which includes peak chart positions for songs + albums.

There are so many mistakes in the archives since they started using that new layout that they are completely useless.

Were they usable before the new layout? I don't remember stuff ever being right, really.

They were, for the most part: I also hate having to scroll past all the random stuff they are putting in between each chart entry now.

Another 15 mill today and it should have a very healthy total for the charting week

There are so many mistakes in the archives since they started using that new layout that they are completely useless. Every day I check Billboard.biz to see if the chart archive section is working. Yesterday I tried searching for the HOT 100 history of "Live To Tell" by Madonna. Before January 26th and the new format, I would get the correct search. Yesterday it came up with over 1,000 pages! It picked up every song that ever had the word "Live" in it that has charted on the HOT100. Billboard at the very least should be apologizing to every subscriber for their screwed up website and giving an update on what they are doing to return it to the same functionality that existed before the revamp.

I still haven't heard "Gentleman" outside of clicking on the video once. Not only that, I still haven't heard anyone talk about it.

Wikipedia - you can search Rihanna, than click on Discography down at the bottom little box. It will then take you to her Discography, which includes peak chart positions for songs + albums. But not all the charts are on Wikipedia. There used to be a way even with the horrible new page to see all their chart entries. Now we can only see one page per artist so their older charting songs can't be seen. It's a mess.

How many songs in the top 10 have you heard people talking about this week outside of Pulse? You make a good point, but considering this is a viral sensation it seems there's more room for discussion. No one's tried to show me the video, no one's asking if I saw it. It's like most people I know have no idea it exists.
