Hmmmm...I don't think any "hater" said in this thread that they wanted this to flop because of Pitbull's inclusion. I've heard them say they wish JLo didn't hire the same rent-a-rapper as her other two first singles, but I don't think anyone has been sending ill vibes towards this so called "hitbull". I think I liked you better when you stanned for Archie or Bruno or any other man you've obsessed over in the last year or so. I like this, but I prefer On the Floor or Dance Again. I was talking about the haters in general not someone from this thread. I saw some people on twitter hating on Pit, so the 'hater' comment was just a simple comment that I shared right here because I got upset when I read that, but don't take it personal. :))I'm a friendly person. P.S By the way, I still like Archie and Bruno. I'm glad I was there for Bruno before the fame and the success. :'( No prob sis. You have the right on Pulse to be as annoying as you want. Glad you didn't pay Bru and David dust when you decided to hop on Pit's dick instead. I'm a friendly person too(PM for deets). xo

the funny thing is that im NOT in any way a hater for Pitbull. On the contrary i like almost 90% of his tracks, dance like crazy on his tracks, and i own his new albums as well
but the way Charismatic writes really gets on my nerves especially when she says that Pitbull is the one who is making this track or any track he is featured on successful, ummm no sis that is WRONG esp when a DIVA like JLO owns the track ;)
For example when he was featured on Havana Brown's We Run the Night , in that case YES he was the one who made it famous but JLO ? just NOP !!!

I like this. But God damn, Pitbull's lyrics get worse and worse. Is he even making sense anymore?

After 'on the floor' Pit got 6 platinum hits and currently has a billboard top 10, while Papi, in to you and going in' failed to reach the top 100 on itunes. Therefore it's obvious that Pit makes a difference when he is featured in a Jlo's song. Today's update: up to 37 on pop +3 +106 spins + over a million AI. :))

Okay now come on, it is pitbull as the main reason why this song is selling on iTunes. Not that it is smashing but most of the sales it is getting I bet is due to pitbull. It is a fact, that is why JLO hired him again thinking she can score another On The Floor. I actually like Dance Again but so far this song has not grown on me. It sucks

Pitbull NEEDS to get out off the song. His verse is the same thing as he did for J.Lo's OTF & DA. always goes on Mr. worldwide & the most beautiful woman in the world, blah blah blah. Thank god that LIVE IT UP DOES NOT have too much Pitbull.
I like this song, better than OTF & DA for me. however, I would love for her to ditch songs like this. I want Urban Jenny noot this type of dance music J.Lo. Plus, this kind of dance music is fading out of the mainstream.

It is a fact, that is why JLO hired him again thinking she can score another On The Floor. Exactly. And yeah, if the production of this was catchier and less generic this would be charting even higher on itunes. I think Jlo should work with other producers too. Pitbull collaborates with Redone, but he doesn't trust him for his own songs. It's interesting to know that 'Drinks for you' was produced by So fly and Nius and the Messengers. She should have told Pit to release 'drinks for you' instead.

Charismatic, you also know that OTF and DA were the first hits from her albums. Usually, first single is more promoted and she benefited from the idol exposure at that time. So, yes Pitbull helped with sales, but you should take in consideration other facts. Now, I think it's a joke when you sugest that DFY was a better first single for JLo. Not because it's not a good song (I really like it), but it's on Pitbull's album. She is signed with RedOne, so probably it's not just her decision.

Charismatic, I respect your dedication for Pitbull but you need to learn the power of Jennifer Lopez. The fact that DA and OTF did good is because of a formula, not only Pitbull but Red One and mostly Jennifer Lopez (Idol exposure and everything). Now can we please move on.

Honestly, I see more crossover appeal in 'drinks for you' than 'live it up.' ' Drinks for you' might not be a radio friendly song, but it sounds like a sleeper hit single. :)) Bad romance: yeah let's move on, but let me tell you that I also like Jlo's music and I acknowledge her achievements.

As long as this keeps getting +100 or more spins for now this should be good. Hope it doesn't go lower than that but good second day update. I was worried it could of gotten less.
Love this song more as I keep listening! :)

So, the one that missed the top 100 was 'goin in' which is a total surprise. Both 'Going in' and 'back in time' were soundtracks of two movies. Both were promoted on TV, both were released around the same time, but why 'back in time' ended up selling 2 millions and peaking at 11 on the billboard hot 100, but ' going in' couldn't?

Its position on iTunes isnt very promising at all although top 20 Top 20 on iTunes without any real promo is good for Jennifer lol and I'm not saying that because I love her. I'm not worried at all yet since there's two high profile performance next week (Idol finale and Billboard Music Awards + video premiere). I actually think it's gonna end up selling more than Dance Again who only sold 1,2 million in the US.

Agreed with BadRomance. This song kinda came out of nowhere also. I don't think any of the general public knew that Jennifer was even releasing a new single. So top 20 already is good. And there's the performances + the video. Way too early to say it's underperforming.

Charamastic you are literally the most annoying poster I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. You have made your point 50 times or more, we get it.
Praise Pitbull. I have one question though, why can he never shift albums

I really love this song, it's a banger that's for sure. I'm not sure if I will end up liking it as much as On The Floor and Dance Again, in particular, On The Floor, but this song is currently my jam.
