SNOOZE! Wow this song stinks!!!!! :( This guy has so much potential but this song is horrible. I think Clay Davidson is better than him but Clay dosen't look the part.

OK. I'll take the unpopular opinion. I've only heard this live, not the recording, but I thought it was a fun song. I like Blake's tongue-in-cheek stuff a lot better than 'Austin' and 'The Baby.'

I agree. I'm not really a Blake Shelton fan, but I liked "Playboys" a lot. This is nowhere near as good, but it's alright.

I finally heard the *recording* of this song - twice today - and no wonder no one likes it. The live version was so much better. The tempo was a little slower, and this allowed for emphasis on the song's humor. I mean, does anyone even get that 'Some Beach' is a euphemism here for 'sonofab%tch?" It was obvious in concert, and really funny, but the recording... sounds like it wants to be another Kenny Chesney beach song... Stupid record labels and radio, playing it safe.

Though I'm not a fan of yet another "beach" song... The first time I heard this song was actually while watching the video and I thought it was hilarious !
The euphemism is very evident in the video !

OK, I guess I'm in the minority, I really dig this track. I think the euphemism is quite clever. I hope this one goes top 10 but I have my doubts.

I had to listen to it a few times before I started to appreciate it. Now, I fing myself singing the chorus throughout the day. "Some Beach........"
