Instant impact at #85 with 25 spins. He had stated previously that he was working on a country album, I assume this is from it.

Hmm. I am a hair band fan, I love Jessica's voice, and I love duets. Sounds wonderful to me.
Seriously, it's a pretty song. Think it will get as much airplay as "Picture" did? I would like to Jessica near the top of the charts again...

I hope this does something. It'll be hard for him to win over the country audience, but if it could even do as well as "Picture", I'd be happy.

I just love Jessica, but don't know about this song. When they sing together, it's like, Jessica is drowned out. lol. Still hope it goes far, for Jessica's sake. Anyone know if she is going to come out with a new album? I'd hate for her to get dropped. :(

Jessica Andrews voice sounds good when you hear it but this song will be a hit for one reason & one reason only. Bret Michaels has a great voice especially on Ballads. I'd put this up with "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" & "Something To Believe In" anyday. i think it'll cross to Hot AC too. If Kid Rock and haLF OF THESE NEW SO CALLED COUNTRY ARTISTS WHO SOUND LIKE pop with hick voices, too country for pop but not country enough for the old timers who like Randy Travis can climb Top 20, then Bret who never Rapped like Kid Rock does on some songs is just as country as they are. But we all know Bret's a star trying to get a great ballad heard on a label with zero promotion, so if country is his outlet. Let's rock country.

I like it. For some reason it reminds me of "To Be With You" by Mr. Big.

BRET MICHAELS WITH JESSICA ANDREWS All I Ever Needed Producer(s): Bret Michaels Writer(s): B. Michaels Publisher(s): Bret Michaels Songs (BMI) Genre: COUNTRY Label/Catalog Number: B*M*B/Poor Boy PMB6500 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: October 16, 2004
Forget the hair spray, makeup and '80s rock excess, and listen to this gorgeous ballad with an open mind. This first glimpse into Poison frontman Bret Michaels' forthcoming country album boasts a beautiful storyline and one of those sticky choruses that remains ever present in the mind. The production is simple and understated, with Michaels turning in a tender, emotionally compelling performance. As he previously demonstrated on such Poison hits as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "Something to Believe In," Michaels is a great communicator, a singer/ songwriter who knows how to deliver a lyric. That quality will surely serve him well in the country format. He's joined here by DreamWorks songstress Jessica Andrews, whose sultry vocals are the icing on an already delicious treat. The country contingent has warmly embraced Jimmy Buffett and Uncle Kracker; this single should open those same doors for Michaels.—DEP

I agree... Jessica needs to be a little louder. This is all right. I don't see it going too far on the country charts. I could be surprised though.

I think this would be a Top 10 smash if it was released at Hot AC or AC!! Great ballad!!! As far as country it seems to be headed Top 40
